Switch 2 version is clearly better

So Switch 2 smoked PS4Pro, smoked XSS, now compare it to XSX, PS5 version….don't be shy now Switch 2 will be gentle I promise you

Only issue PS5 version can have vs. Switch 2 is terrible FSR2 artifacts but it should look better 90% of the time thanks to much higher input res. Not to mention 60fps?

Digital Foundry isn't going to like this comparison.
How could a Switch 2 version produce better IQ than the PS4 Pro version despite being internally rendered at 540p?

DLSS is the answer.

Sure DLSS is better, no doubt about that, but still, the image on the left is heavily compressed from YT :D

Honestly that Wii version is less terrible than expected.
and Black Ops is even better

@thread
Nice how good is running. If they make another Metroid game, chances are that will blown everyone's mind

They are going to pull out the 400X zoom weapon and show to you that the Switch 2 have two less pixels than the PS4 Pro, and demonstrated that they were right all the time and that our eyes are wrong.

Without DLSS this game could never run on S2. But now it does, so that's great.

The FSR artifacts in Cyberpunk on current gen are distractingly ugly. Especially with SSR when driving.

I'm comfortable stating Switch 2 competes most closely with Xbox Series S, but will pretty much always be beneath the PS5/Pro and Xbox Series X. This is also more than I was expecting from Nintendo.

Considering all fuzz made by the OP and other Nintendo enthusiasts on this site you would expect the Switch version to run similar or higher than the Xbox Series S version, but the former runs at 1080p and 30-40fps and the latter has two modes at 1440p/30fps and 1080/60fps.

We'll see if the game has different modes on the Switch 2.

It's 1440p using FSR on the Series S and it looks terrible. Worse than 1080p DLSS as stated by several youtube channels showing direct comparisons. So if that 1440p FSR mode looks like shit what do you think the 1080p FSR mode looks like?

That's most probably due to CPU, so far the most realistic scenario is:
- CPU heavy games will definitely run worse than on XSS
- GPU bound games might be behind XSS but not so far behind as CP2077, or they might be more or less equal depending on the game and what are the bottlenecks (Switch 2 memory is better and way easier to work with as has been reported)
- IQ will still be better on Switch 2 due to DLSS even if the resolution ends up being lower

We are in the upscaler and post processing generation.
1080p DLSS is superior to 1440p FSR.
