Cyberpunk 2077 | Switch 2 vs Steam Deck | Final Graphics Comparison

2024/2025 Lenovo and Asus handhelds are like 10-15% faster then the Steam Deck. Not like it's a night and day difference.
comparisons show a night and day difference though, the ally x i posted earlier can run at much higher res and settings while still maintaning bewteen 30-60 fps. Even the cheaper versions appear to do significantly better.

so, its running a PS4 game at 540p30fps and that somehow better than 1800p@60fps ?????

That guy make shit videos, you can't trust any shit he does especially his PS footage. The Switch 2 version is 720p (it's docked) not 540p.

Were the SteamDeck is free? 👀
See this is your problem. You're so defensive that you're just assuming every 'hater' is a Steam Deck user, when most of us really arent.
I have literally only owned one handheld in my life, a Gameboy Advance,. And i sold it after about 2 months. I dont do handhelds.

This was my orig post in this thread -

I still dont like these kind of comparisons. Steam Deck is just running the PC version of the game, while the Switch 2 is running a custom version made specifically for it.

I know in the end the final result is all that matters but i feel you still have to take everything into account.

No warring, no inflammatory remarks, just what i feel was a fair point. Yet i got smilies, copium gifs etc, by the resident Switch mafia. So yeah you brought on all this yourselves.

nintendo fans take tribalism and imagined persecution to the next level, any comment not seen as 'pro switch' will result in ridicule. THey're not interested in honest comparisons, just looking for 'wins'

Relax, i don't have any problem, the Switch 2 performance is just exactly what i was expecting… I am just having some fun with the people that moved the goalpost to the Rog Ally X.

We haven't even seen any analysis. We have footage provided from Nintendo vs actual in-hand benchmarks and screens on everything else. There are a lot of unanswered questions here and folks are acting like we have all the answers already.

Plus in 1080p vs 800p, no?

The one I saw was 720p* on both, I believe

*or technically 720p vs 800p

here is the video:

Ally X is 42% faster at the same settings

The ally x you added $400 more to the price tag for some reason. Also, here are other models, the cheapest of which has a similar price tag to the switch 2

Well ts handheld machines being compared to handheld machines. If you can compare Switch 2 to the 4 year old Steam Deck, then there shouldnt be a problem comparing it to other handheld machines.
And you did the ultimate goalpost shift by ignoring the discussion and bringing up sales, something that has zero effect on the games, or us as gamers.

Ha ha ha ha

Dude, want to talk about tribalism? SD owners flooded every fucking switch 2 footage of cyberpunk 2077 on YouTube to say SD destroys it

Not « let's wait to see portable », no, any footage of CP2077 which was always docked. Now for nearly 2 months this is debunked the goalpost keeps moving. Now they're hiding behind ROG ally X.

I don't have any problem with that 😂😂😂. I know exactly what to expect… Tell that to people that said that the SD was going to destroy the SW2…

still holding out on that direct feed handheld performance mode s2 vs sd, guess we wont be waiting too long now. I'm expecting the s2 to look and run better seeing how it has a bespoke, highly optimized version of the game tailored specifically to it's strenghts. curious to see where and what had to be modified for it to work, how stable the 40 fps are, and what kind of battery life we're looking at with like 80% screen brightness.

Imagine if the SW2 end up having better texture quality 🏃‍♂️

Pretty sure you can find idiots takes on all sides on social media, including youtube.

It's only fair when comparing handheld footage (it will likely still look cleaner because DLSS is pretty damn good).
I mean, you could compare it, but that thing costs twice as much.
Just want to know how does it compare really. nintendo is Nintendo. has nothing to do with power. but so far the switch 2 seems impressive. and I want to know how does it compare to something like Z1 and Z2 out of curiosity. has nothing to do with which one is a better system lol.

This, for obvious reasons the Rog Ally machines are going to win, but the comparison is going to be fun to watch. Im expecting better texture quality on SW2.

Apparently Switch 2 uses DLSS 3 in this game, I think that's a bit better than whatever AMD is using in the handhelds.
This is 1080p DLSS Q (transformer), so it might be close to this:

Comparisons to PC DLSS at equivalent settings and resolution showed it was much better than CNN for edge aliasing though, almost as close as transformer model

Why doesn't it, then? It's 40fps in performance mode.
That's a valid question and I think it's because they want to push graphics for initial good press regarding graphics quality and will probably make a 60 fps mode later.

At quality mode, the game send to be upscaling from 631p-720p to 1080p DLSS. So a 720p@60fps mode for docked only looks feasible.

I remember seeing this scene in a video so maybe someone can compare them (was it a DF video? I remember someone talking about the fence in the background).

I think it was NXGamers video that said it's DLSS 3, which wouldn't surprise me since 4 is a bit more taxing.

It's likely neither DLSS 3 or 4 but the new model for Nintendo
