Came home and we played Mario Kart for just over an hour.. from 86% to 33%.. so disappointing. 
Hope somewhat can be addressed through efficiency patches or something, night and day difference from OLED experience. Otherwise enjoying the system despite not having much to play on it. Like the device, design, etc. Mouse functionality is probably my favorite new addition in terms of capability.

Why would you open your Switch 2 and void your warranty to put a dodgy 3rd party battery inside the Switch which also will make it more fat and unwieldy instead of just using a phone battery pack?

Not sure why they made this change, but you now only need to wait 5 days for games in your profile to show your approximate playtime instead of 10 days

I have the same one. Installation was easy and I'm pleased with the result. Looks nice, low reflections and it feels better than the screen itself.
Never used a screen protector on any device (not even the smartphones I use, but I ordered a matte protector for that now, too
), so I have no frame of reference.

by the time i will need to swap batteries there will be no warranty.
and how the hell will it make it fat if the battery footprint is the same size? going from 5200 to 5800 or even 6000 depending on the battery MF wouldnt change the size at all.....
people were putting 6400mah batteries in their regular and oled switches....if you have no clue what you are talking about i get it man

Probably one of my favorite aspects of Bravely Default as an illustrator. If they put out a PS5 HD collection with 1 and 2, will triple dip for sure lol
The hand drawn towns looks gorgeous in big screen.
I love the art direction and aesthetic of BD as well as the music and was fine with the voice overs. (so much so that own the art book for it lol) The gameplay is pretty bare and was never anything to write home about, but I enjoyed it none the less and its always been a personal favorite of mine. I feel this series doesn't get enough love and I always question when people ask about the current state of Final Fantasy and it returning to turn based, we have great series doing that right now that deserves that attention.
Semi OT, but SEGA should 100% remaster those Persona Q games too.
Without this remaster, I was 100% not buying a Switch 2 lol
It was just enough of a luxury buy and I enjoy BD enough and its been such a long time since I've played it, it was worth the purchase and I'll just keep it on dust until a new AC comes out after I beat BD.
I see it as an investment as I'll still buy so many IP on the platform anyway and was thinking about replying Bravely Default a year or 2 ago, but at my age and with my eye sight, I prefer to play it on the big screen and I hate the way 3DS plays as it cramps my hands
In terms of the Switch 2 hardware itself, I have nothing against it personally, but I feel the OS should have been updated a bit more as its too much the same as the Switch 1 UI and very bland and the greed of Nintendo knows no bounds lol I was playing Mario Kart and saw the controllers needed charging, I'm here looking for a C cable only to find out, that like Switch 1, this doesn't have option to actually charge the controller while playing, oh but hey, you can BUY THAT FROM NINTENDO

Like, maybe 2 and half hours or so. (but note it wasn't fully charged, I was using them right out of the box after unopening) well....i'm not sure if it was fully charged or not tbh, I don't think i paid attention until the low battery warning showed
I was really surprised they didn't have that charge joycon thing as....well they know they can have that since Switch 1, why make 2 and purposely leave it out to sell it as an extra? smh I literally assumed they figured that out and was out here looking for a C-charging cable and to my surprised, it had no where to charge it lol
I ended up just docking the controllers on the system and just playing AC Shadows until it was fully charged (but was too tired to care about MK moving forward lol)

Savage Raven which is a switch specific brand of skull n co, I have the grip case and zip case for it. V good feels solid, only issue is you cant dock with it, which is BS.
I have to say, Rocket League feels like it runs smoother on my switch 2 with less input lag.
Joining a match is like one of the first in line.
There is no delay in the menu's and the load times are wayyyy faster as on my switch 1. Not even close.
Like when you leave a match to the home menu screen.
It would be nice if it still gets as a resolution patch, but at this point, i'm already really happy with the current performance.
When you know Asmongold is involved, you know you can ignore these kind of video's as a whole

I hope that Neverwinter Nights 2 remaster has a Switch 2 update at launch or for free in the future. That game would be perfect co-op for me and my friends.

Since it's now Wednesday the week after S2 launch and Walmart still hasn't charged me, today I contacted customer service. They told me that they charged me on June 5th and "Check your statement it would be there if not then it would be system glitch." Then they sent me an email for $5 off my next order. It's almost like they just want to give me money lol.
I just checked my bank account and there's currently no charge. Others on Reddit are saying they're in the same boat. Very odd.

Ah ok, I'm not sure what the problem is then sorry. The only other thing I can think of checking is that the USB audio volume setting is set to maximum on the quick menu. But I'm sure you've done that already.

For anyone interested in the Switch 2's compatibility with some wireless USB gaming earbuds I can confirm that the Playstation Pulse Explores and the Playstation Link Adaptor work well with the Switch 2 when the Link Adaptor is connected to the dock. The microphone on the Pulse Explores works as well when connected to the dock via Link Adaptor. You won't have access to the ability to change the EQ of the Pulse Explores when connected to the Switch 2 because that functionality is locked to the Playstation 5 but if you've got a PS5 and have set an EQ on the Pulse Explores it will save the EQ to the earbuds and you will be able to use that EQ on the Switch 2 (you just won't be able to change any EQ that's set on the Explores when it's connected to the Switch).
In portable mode you can connect the Switch 2 to the Pulse Explores via bluetooth and they sound good but there is a decent amount of audio lag. You also won't be able to use their microphone. One way around these two problems might be to connect the Playstation Link Adaptor to the Switch's USB-C port via a USB-C to USB-A adaptor but I can't test that because I don't have one of those adaptors.
The Steelseries Arctis Gamebuds X (the Xbox variant) also work well when you use the USB-C dongle connected to either of the Switch 2's USB-C ports in portable mode. They also work when you connect the dongle to the dock via the USB-A to USB-C adaptor that comes with the Gamebuds. The Gamebuds' microphone works in both portable and docked modes as well.
In portable mode you can connect the Switch 2 to the Pulse Explores via bluetooth and they sound good but there is a decent amount of audio lag. You also won't be able to use their microphone. One way around these two problems might be to connect the Playstation Link Adaptor to the Switch's USB-C port via a USB-C to USB-A adaptor but I can't test that because I don't have one of those adaptors.

No problem. The slim tomtoc one is really nice. Looks and feels really good. I wanted the black one but the grey one was the only available option. But I really need a grip sleeve and I think it won't fit into this case so I bought a bundle with a new case.

I've done the battery recalibration thing where you drain it from 100% to 0% twice, so we'll see if that helps the battery a little bit. But I've been getting around 2 and a half hours to 3 hours of battery life when playing Mario Kart World heavily, and with maximum screen brightness. When you mix it up with different games, you can get around 4 hours or so.
I guess it doesn't matter with me because I'm going to have it docked up 95% of the time. If you're going to play it straight handheld, I suggest getting a 20,000mAh portable charger.

Maybe I'm just a dumbass (entirely possible) but the LCD screen on this looks fantastic. I have a Switch OLED AND a Steam Deck OLED, yesterday I was playing some demos from Steam Next Fest, put it down and pick up my Switch 2 and really don't notice any difference. The Switch 2 actually looks better because it's higher-resolution.
