Wait, dude made a pronoun joke? Shouldn't that make him alt-right adjacent or something?
Again, calling everything and everyone they don't like 'facist'

We are not going back.
This is insane. The first minute about his kids at Disney.
Basically "bye bye, Antifa".So, what's next?
Targeted economic warfare. I'm afraid to say what comes after if that doesn't work. So, what's next?
You have to win hearts and minds. Win in the theater of ideas. Call out the violence and hate at every moment and There has to be a solution for having some balance of ideas in higher education. So, what's next?
Basically "bye bye, Antifa".
Say what you want about what she said, but she doesn't deserve to get doxxed and death threats and shit. People are mental.
This is one of the most insane things I've read in ages, but it's worse because it's being presented like it's normal and reasonable.I agree that the line needs to be drawn better. Someone who just says something a bit gross or a joke about him or "he was awful anyway" or something doesn't need to be persecuted for saying dumb things. The efforts to bring consequences to people who cheered his murder should be narrowly targeted only at public and school officials, and only if they actually posted that he deserved what happened or something at that level, not if they just said they hate him.

We are not going back.
Bill Maher of all people making a similar point I was trying to make a few posts back:
We are not going back.
So, what's next?
I get where the comment is coming from, but this is dangerous ground to tread upon. So, what's next?
Gexxy1 posted a tweet that has screenshots a few posts back. As for "real", I barely trust anything beyond my property line these days and even within I'm not 100%, so I couldn't tell you.Is all this stuff I'm hearing about a "trans terror cell" that's linked to the assassination real?
I'm guessing you just can't process information, let me restate even simpler:This is one of the most insane things I've read in ages, but it's worse because it's being presented like it's normal and reasonable.

Holy shit, that site is awful. Every one of those people need help. They certainly threaten women who don't agree with their ideology. There's a whole website dedicated to logging threats from these more extreme trans groups to "terfs"

There's definitely an undercurrent of violence and extremism in the darker parts of this subculture.
Seems like it, but in this day and age, let it play out before you take it as the truth. Is all this stuff I'm hearing about a "trans terror cell" that's linked to the assassination real?
It's too far gone; it's gotten to the point where the existence of different think from the radicals means you must be killed. This sounds extreme but maybe it is time to split the country up. I think the idea of a 50 state America is done and a peaceful divorce would better than a violent fracture. It is sad but it is better than going the way of Sarajevo and Yugoslavia.
Oh man I pray not. I love USA and being united is our greatest strength. Sadly we are very divided now. This sounds extreme but maybe it is time to split the country up. The story is a bit sus. had 0 idea at all, did research to find out what school he went to, but somehow didn't see a single article of literally the biggest news story, and then just had to make a "neck" reference. My ex, whom I'm still friends with, learned about Kirk's passing the day after it happened. She didn't know how he died, just that he was killed. She then found out they went to the same school and she posted something along the lines of, "WOW, Charlie Kirk was from my neck of the woods"
A lady she knew flew off the handle (admittedly I understand) at her calling her names for making fun of his death. If you knew my ex, you'd know she isn't on the news 24/7 and barely watches TV and isn't on Twitter. She barely found out WHO he was before posting. She explained she didn't know HOW he had been killed and was using a colloquial term and wasn't making a joke of his killing. The lady never apologized or came back to the post.
I know tensions are high still... There have been some tense posts in here. But civility has largely won out.

it'll just end in far more assassinations and probably deaths with civilians because all they'll needa do is run back home to a safe space and there'll be no accountability.
