Unable to login here in the UK as well (it's 5:45pm).

For some reason, since yesterday Steams asks me which user is logging in even though I only have one account and thus one user. This never happened before yesterday and I've been using Steam for over 20 years now (21 years since Half-Life 2 launched).

Purchasing is still not working. The site is back up but I went to purchse what I had in my cart and got:

It's apparently crowdstrike /Microsoft, a faulty network cybersecurity update. All these sites use the same service. Ridiculous.


Looks like steam is back probably for a bit now.
