The remote, speed and apps are a welcome.

History of TV's coming from a 43" Inch early adopter version of 4K TV (Sharp) and before that it was the bubble TV experience,

Finally got it in time. I got an email saying it was back in stock and I bought it maybe 20 minutes later, and not even an hour after that it's sold out. Supposedly it smells like the original 2009-2011 formulation from YSL. People pay a lot of money for the vintage stuff so its always been hard for me to get, but ive always eventually managed to find some up until recently where its getting harder and harder.

Forget even finding the original formulation from ysl on ebay, even the later reformulations still go for a good chunk. I believe anything 2015 and after is the new watered down formulation, you can tell just by the smell and color, its very obvious. Now you're telling me this version outperforms the current one ysl has, and even competes with their best formulation they ever made of it, and costs $45?

Surprised how fast it went, I should have bought more than I did. Wish they did something similar with gucci pour homme 2 which at the moment sells for $400-$500 for a full bottle, original price was like $60, absolutely disgusting.

Pleased to see a fellow fragrance hobbyist in this forum. Latest fragrance I myself have purchased is Le Sel d'Issey by Issey Miyake. Great salty mineral scent thats refreshing for the soul in the cold months

Had a little bit of a splurge recently with TV prices discounted;

Purchased a 65" S85F Samsung OLED for the bedroom. Very happy with it, incredible picture. Not as big an audiophile / home theatre freak I used to be, so Im more cost conscious and I have to saw, even as an 'entry' level OLED, its very good. Mostly only used for Switch 2 + streaming / youtube. More than does the job.

Also got a pair of Audeze Maxwell gaming headphones. I was using Logitech G935s before but I have always been annoyed at how awful "gaming" headphones are. I have heard a multitude of them, and they all sound terrible. I cant work out why, like who is asking for these headphones with really bloated, blubbery bass with muddy mid ranges. Thats why I had a set of Sony MDR1As I used for everything at the PC through a DAC but I needed something with a mic and the logitechs were less offensive than most gaming headphones. These Maxwell's are actually very decent sounding, finally gaming headphones that actually does finesse and tight bass. Super solid build too.

Oh and my Shokz OpenRun headphones died so I bought a pair of Shokz OpenRun Pro 2s to replace them. A decent little upgrade over the OpenRuns for when Im out on the mountain bike.

I'd be tempted, and even tempted to switch back to Android from Apple, but you can't use Google Pay with this phone, right?

The inability to use that would be a deal-breaker for me.
I think it's possible. I've had the Huawei Mate 20 Pro for six years, and you can watch YouTube, shop, and use apps on it.

The rumors that Google is restricting Huawei and all that are just nonsense from the competition. It's not restricted at all, at least not in Mexico.

Anyway, I'll do a review as soon as the product arrives.

But right now, Huawei is one of the best cell phone companies in the world.

I was going to buy the Samsung Trifold, but their Fold is awful. It only has one or three screens and a front screen, which doesn't make sense to me.

My favorite for the last 10 years is Armani Code.

I'm almost out, gotta refill 😋

Thanks. At least let me know if Google Pay works. If it does, I may consider the phone.
Yes, I receive it in the first few weeks, to let you know what you can do.

The apps themselves are fine; they download normally and you can use them. I use Chat GPT on my current model and bank payments, and I haven't had any problems.

I think Samsung's Trifold has a bad design in its folding mechanism; we'll have to wait and see.

a chain whip (kinky) with a tool to remove the cassette, 8 speed gear cassette replacement, steel brushes, new chain

my bicycle chain keeps slipping. i've not been using it much recently and neglicated lubricating the chain so it's got very rusty with the cold weather. so will replace the cassette and chain to see if that helps. it's a cheap bike. already had to do a full rear brake replacement (cable, calipers, disc) as it was totally fucked: frayed cable, calipers were worn and not gripping the cable, and disc was warped.

doesn't seem that long ago i replace the chain as it snapped. the bike itself is fine but yeah everything is starting to break down. probably need to replace the front gears/brakes soon.

I needed a massive virtual theater for my Steam Deck for home and travel that isn't VR. It's coming in tomorrow 😎

Edit: Straight up the pinnacle of gaming right here BTW. Doesnt get better than this.

An LG OLED tv

Now I understand the hype surounding it, it's amazing

Another one ! 😁

Seriously now Bae, I just hope you're not sensitive to framerate stuff 'cause 24 and 30fps content on OLED is just not good, personally, I can't do 30fps anymore and it's not because "I got used to playing at 60fps", the near instant response time of these panels is both a blessing AND a curse...

Enjoy your new TV man

Anyway, got these 2 about 2 weeks ago :

Yeah no quite the opposite actually, now I only want to play 120fps games on it

After reading through the LOTR trilogy during the past 2 months I decided to keep going and bought this edition of The Silmarillion:

Looks neat, and comes with 49 illustrations by Ted Nasmith. Can't wait to dive into it.
