I'd probably still bite on $1000, but I'd be WAY less excited for it. Those specs are way too weak to justify $1000 even if it's a "full PC" and it better come with the controller for that (it won't).

Yeah 512gb is like 2 gens ago and was during the GTX 900 series lol.

Wouldn't even touch PS or N if it's over $900 imo. Most people willing to spend 1k+ prob have a gaming pc for that. Also it's not as powerful as a ps5 pro apparently so why choose that over a $749 ps5 pro with better specs than this machine on paper?

Even with a weaker spec it would have still been fine if it had more vram. 8gb in 2026 is an even bigger middle finger than having that in 2024 which was already very bad back then.

whatever cpu advantage it has, will be wasted on trying to brute force unoptimized pc ports.

If it holds the 2.4 Ghz GPU clock, it should be close albeit 8 GB VRAM. It does have a much better CPU though.
