I almost passed out. lol. I filled my tank on Sunday and it was 3 bucks or so and then I drove by a Sheetz and Exxon today and it was 3.49/gal.

I've lucked out twice wrt. electricity. I signed a two year fixed rate contract right before Ukraine started and I just signed a 1 year renewal two days before Iran popped off. Gas is less of a concern since it's already $8+ per gallon.

As an American I do have a serious problem with "dear leader" style propaganda and politics. We aren't talking about sports teams or game brands here, where you can let yourself have blind allegiance for the feels.
People should not be taking shit for pointing out that a fancy US AI drone is in fact not US.
Also learn history so you know which few times people call things a Nazi these days they actually are.

A huge problem with "dear leader" propaganda but won't address the "NOT MY PRESIDENT" lock step propaganda of the other side of the coin.

No joke. I had a conversation with someone at work after the State of the Union who told me that the Democrats should have been forced to stand for Trump. I was like, no. He then took it to another level and told me how quickly North Koreans stood for Kim Jong Un as a sign of respect. I thought he was joking. He was not. After I explained the difference in fear and respect and that we Americans (including politicians) are not forced to agree with our president, I think he realized how dumb he was being. I have no problem with people who support Trump, I agree with some of the things he does, but come on.

Israel decides the nuclear talks are a waste of time, starts firing at Iran
US is like "we had to do it because they did it", because you know, as the most powerful military in the world you get to be pushed around
Iranians are like "wtf we were still in the middle of negotiations and things seemed to be OK" (Oman mediator was saying deal was within reach)
First order of business, kill a top leader of major religious significance for the people (because that always goes well)
Then, proceed to bomb a school full of 8-12 year old girls, murdering 100+
In the meantime, Trump is all like "go forth and rise up everyone, just watch out for the bombs and stuffs"
Bomb the shit out of Tehran, which is the more liberal part of Iran that would actually support an uprising, killing 1000+ civilians
When asked what the goal of the war is, no one seems to know...regime change? destruction of missiles/drones? destruction of nuclear facilities (didn't we already do that last summer?! does it just take 6 months to rebuild everything lol?)
And then the administration is shocked! "Why is no one rising up?"
How is it that when you murder kids, kill civilians, have no plan, people would still choose their own shitty regime over your "liberation"?
Is this the famous 4D chess everyone keeps talking about?!

Christians pray over people (in this case the president) to help guide them / heal them / protect them / etc.
If you don't know this, you need to travel outside your bubble a bit. I have visited virtually every region of the US outside of the PNW, and other countries, and this is not at all an uncommon thing in the South East / Bible Belt / Tornado Alley.
You see less of this hands on worship in prayer in other parts of the US, but I have seen it there too.
A dude I played ball with competitively he and his friends always did this if there was an injury. Dude was a fire ball player too. He had those Holy Hops. I was a PG who could touch rim, he was like an inch taller and could rocket up like you wouldn't believe. Bro did not look like he would / could. Crazy skills, slinder and lanky Kevin Durant type build, but only in the lower 6 foot range (~ 6' 3" or so). His roomate was a PF, short for the position but an absolute bully with his frame. Played wayyyy taller than he was just because he was dense and sure footed.

I'll take your word for it. I attended a religious school, have religious family and friends and I've never seen anything like that. Must be an American thing.

Definitely see this heavier in the US southeast and places I mentioned. I have also seen it among Christians in some of the Caribbean / Latin American areas. I definitely don't think it's common place in Europe / across the pond though.
Largely you see this is southern heavy denominations of Christianity like Baptist churches, Pentecostal churches, etc. Less in Catholic, Presbyterian, Methodist circles.

I can help explain it in gaming terms you will easily understand.
The angry, protagonist featured in this - are representing a strong, dominating presence (USA), which would be equivalent in the gaming sphere to something like Playstation and Nintendo.
The targets they are blowing to pieces, is represented by the weak, evil, tyrant regime, which would be something like Microsoft / XBOX.
