No I don't buy games day one. I made an exception for RE9, but I was looking forward to that for a long time.

Voted No but I will get around to it eventually. Backlog too stronk.
Ain't no way will I ever finish my backlog. But I am gonna buy this one, need to support talented eastern devs (Hopefully this one is as good as it looks)

I've pre-ordered on PC but can understand the hesitation from console players holding off. It seems like they're working up to the last second to improve console performance or else why not release the footage.

despite it looking very very nice visually, it also looks like very very generic slop.

On the surfce it looks like a massive open world with zero depth. But will see soon enough.

Heard this game referred to in passing on here. Just finally looked at the trailer. Yawn more third person action dodgyslash single-player fantasy slop. The fact that they are not making a Battle Royale is a personal insult to me and any true gamer. I will cheer this game's failure and if it happens to succeed I will retreat, regroup, and do battle in sales threads for the next dodgyslash pile of garbage.

Will wait for reliable reviewers to drop their reviews. Will make a decision based on the consensus i can draw from those reviews. If enough of them say it is good, i will probably get it a on day 2 or 3 on PC

I shall buy it but let my son play it first on our steam sharing and if its no good I'm gonna make him pay half lol

Got me in the first half not gonna to lie

Waiting for reviews. I'm swamped with work and my kids in sports. My only gaming time right now goes to WoW and Hades 2. I want to pick it up once I get more time to sink into a game like this, but that will depend on Steam reviews for me.

Truth. I didn't know you had kids. I thought you was married to Cyberpunk 2077 lol jk jk I like the concept of this game, but its also a wait and see for me. I'll likely continue to play BF6 and Marathon (also still on RE9 and plan to play on its other modes after to do speed run things)

I like it, I just don't have the time and want to see how it reviews before a buy. Too deep a backlog to day 1 this sight unseen.

Here is a almost full quest

This game out here looking like the best PS1 remaster we never got lol

Two kids! I end up playing more "party" games like Phasmophobia, Lethal Company, R.E.P.O., etc. because of them. They're really into those. My wife is happy my CyberPunk binge is over though. I kept coming into the room at 1-2am and chugging caffeine to get through the days.

With this game I just want to see if even half their offerings are done well. There's a lot going on with this game, but my "Mile wide, foot deep" is what I keep fearing. The quest footage floating around doesn't excite me either.

I 100% plan on getting this around release ...unless gamer feedback turn out to be horrible.

After suffering through stories told by western devs over the last decade I don't mind the story taking a backseat. Judging by the previews the game looks fun as fuck.
Right there with you. Western AAA games don't tell stories, they lecture you. At this point, my AAA library is all Asian games.

So you traded woke for 3000-year old dragon that looks like a 10 year old girl? You do you (I guess). Or you can just try and find some AA games with great female characters e.g. Plague Tale. Because you sure as hell will not find non-tropey ones coming from Japan…

Looks interesting but I ain't sure if I'm ready for another 100+ hours game at the moment... Maybe if reviews and impression are overwhelming (which I doubt, expect an 75-80% game).

I don't think the story here will take any more of a backseat than it does in other open world games. They wouldn't motion capture every side quest if that was the case.

I think it will be fine. Pearl Abyss isn't CDPR, so it's two different developers, two different games and two different types of games.

I guess I'm kind of confused by the comparisons between these two developers. Especially since CDPR has released more games than PA.
I hope so too.

Preordered after the recent previews. Hoping Korean devs can keep delivering on fantastic single player experiences.

Voted unsure. I want to see how it runs on the Pro before picking up a copy.

That said, if it performs well, I'm hoping I can grab a physical copy locally without pre‑ordering, since some of these hyped‑up games have been selling out really fast lately...

I've already got my is likely pre-order in via Green Man gaming and like that guy from The Crow that drove himself off the dock said, there is no coming back.

My main thing is that I have to finish DQ7R and I've been lagging but feel like I'm 3/4 of the way. I have less than 2 weeks before this game comes out.

That poll result is crazy. I'm in the minority not interested but I haven't seen a game so hyped since Cyberpunk. I suspect it'll end the same way.

Never day 1.
But it looks like a Dragon's Dogma that's actually finished for once.
I'll get it when I verify that!
