It doesn't matter what developer makes a new extraction shooter. There's going to be ~4 maps at launch with any of them. The new PUBG extraction shooter is apparently going to launch with only 1 map. Pretty sure they're over 1k staff.

In your perfect dream the impossible dream world, how many maps would Marathon have launched with?

Dude....4th map held back because there is a level floor of 25. I said that already. It's been added to the map selection screen and it's out most likely after tomorrow's update, but we've known since before launch the 4th raid like map would be out before the end of March.

So how many maps do you think an extraction shooter should launch with to be considered fully featured?

Having put more time into the game. It is really fun and well made - but just like Destiny 1 it feels like we are immediately waiting for more stuff. Exciting in a way - but if nothing comes... well that is a real issue

I've only played the first 2 maps mostly in 70 hours. The draw is the PVP.

Content isn't an issue.

Old Bungie made Halo: CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach in roughly a 10-year span.

New Bungie has spent nearly the same amount of time releasing Destiny 2 expansions… and a three-map multiplayer shooter. So beyond cooked for Sony.

The only company doing things like that are CoD. But they have multiple studios rotating the franchise , more people than anyone in the biz, and yet players still complain it's the same shit every year with a new coat of paint.

It's more like the industry changed, and consumer expectations along with it a LONG time ago.

But please pop off king and yell at them clouds back in your day bull shit.
