At this point i have to think this language is totally intentional for Iran not to do what he says so Trump can escolate this war even further.

The difference was that it was a ton of weapons and equipment left in perfect working condition for the taliban. Here the C-130s and the Little Birds were completely destroyed. So while they were lost, they were not left for the enemy to use and extract intel from. Very big difference.
 
The occupant of the WH should exist as an aspirational leader. Nothing about Trump is aspirational. He's crude, rude and too many dudes think he's based BECAUSE of it. Nevermind that Bush Jr, Obama and Clinton and Bush Sr were all aspirational leaders... They treated the office with respect. Trump treats it as a toy.

With all due respect, Americans shouldn't care about it either. Only about 3% of our oil comes from there. Spare me the "free world" comment when our "allies" are locking people up for tweets. We would've been better off letting the soviets take over Europe.

There's nothing to say about the rescue of the Pilot with respect to Trump, because Trump isn't the one who orchestrated their rescue.
It was the military tacticians and servicemen who made it happen.

I mean, I thought Bush Junior was an idiot, Biden was obviously (literally) demented, Clinton was a womanizer POS but other than that he seemed like a competent leader (I don't remember him much, I was too young).

But Trump is on another level, and not in a good way. I like some of his policies (like getting rid of illegal migrants or woke stuff from administration) but most of the other stuff is just horrible.

Just for clarification, anyone who doesn't unconditionally support his laughable campaign in Iran is a terrorist sympathizer in your eyes, yes?

Because I dont see a whole lot fo support for Iran here. Most are just calling out how poorly executed this operation has been, and/or trumps comments in the midst of it. Is that equivalent to supporting terrorism to you? Because that's a dangerous precedent to set.

The reaction for criticizing a dumb, tone-deaf tweet, shouldn't be "we should have let the Soviets take over Europe" is a bit extreme, but OK I guess.

Other people's stupidity shouldn't be a factor in us criticizing our own admin. And to think just a week ago there were tweets about possible negotiations, that was much better. Wrapping this up with minimal civilian/US personnel casualties is the goal we should aspire for, IMO.
