Why are they landing multiple C-130s in Iran to rescue a pilot? Very weird

Think they flew the personnel and vehicles including helicopters in on the planes. Possibly equipment to build a runway of some sort to take-off from. That didn't quite work out - but apparently they flew in 3 extra planes to take all the personnel out which presumably landed and took off so maybe they got something sort of working.

And there are tons of Israelis SO infiltrated in Iran. You can do that first air defense sweep like they did in Rising Lion without troops in there.

The rescue was a huge operational success but i would still say that the Uranium part, probably scattered and buried around multiple places in the country, complicates A LOT the entire flying thing. Plus the Iranians know where the Uranium is.

As is said before if this thing go ahead, it would be the most complicated special operation ever conceived, by far. Tom Clancy level of operation.
