I guess this will fill in that Uncharted 5 hole that folks have been asking for.
Not even close LOL!!!

yep. tho so far it feels like a somewhat inferior version, it's definitely succeeding in going for that...I guess this will fill in that Uncharted 5 hole that folks have been asking for.
Absolutely ridiculous that they dont have a 30fps mode on PRO with better visuals and enhanced Ray Tracing.
This one mode only 60fps nonsense is WACK.
G GigaBowser , is that you?Damn the enimies has no AI, so we are Fuck&*ëd by RAM, Nand, SSD Crysis for AI , but the AI that we need dont work
Its an Uncharted style game with stealth and set pieces.30 fps for a 3rd person action game? Gonna pass on that chief

lol
Imagine playing Uncharted 4 with KB/M..

Now that would be retarded indeed.
Look at this shit. U4 is 10 years old and it's still the pinnacle of 3rd person action games.
I'd even go as far as: 30fps for any game that isn't a fixed camera old school RE-style, and even then? Gonna pass hard on that chief.30 fps for a 3rd person action game? Gonna pass on that chief
I agree, although I still vastly prefer the original three, at least when it comes to pacing. And narrative to a certain extent. And people were calling Uncharted 4 overrated in that other thread, lmao

Great examples, thanks

Uncharted 4 feels greater, there's truly exceptional stuff in it, untouched even ten years later, but it's somehow lacking when it comes to that magic, that creative spark that made the OG trilogy so special.
Can't put my finger on it. Would have said tone is off years ago, but I actually love the game tone. It's something else.
Agree with every single word, minus the entry line.1st aged like milk, imo. 2 is still amazing and 3 is also great.
I agree that 4 has many flaws. The pacing is attrocious and it lacked combat scenarios. Gameplay was amazing but they drip feed us during the campaign. Story was meh. But the combat was so, so good. Graphics and animations are amazing to this day. And it feels so good to play.
And Lost Legacy is even better
Its Me MarioG GigaBowser , is that you?

Why the hell would I not want this shit to look as good as possible on my pS5 pro?
Lazy devs, dont even have Path Tracing at launch.
I think the same, it might be them attempting to create a trailer that feels like watching an action sequence from a bond movie and that playing it without knowing the level inside out (or even a version of the level adjusted to facilitate it, perhaps) might yield more game-y emergent gameplay.Looks kind of boring to be honest.
It looks very streamlined, as if everything - the level design, enemy placement, items, etc. - has been tailored to create "a perfect flow" but in the end it comes across as artificial and staged IMO
I have been wondering about this as well, he's fighting enemies and smashing them into stuff while enemies are standing right next to him, not noticing. The enemies are like placeholders or something, it's weird to watch.Damn the enimies has no AI, so we are Fuck&*ëd by RAM, Nand, SSD Crysis for AI , but the AI that we need dont work
I'm really curious what average person would tell which looks better
A set piece heavy game should have the best graphics possible. Period.
But same settings 60fps does look better than 30fps..A set piece heavy game should have the best graphics possible. Period.
I don't buy a $1000 console to play the game at the same settings as a PS5 at higher frame rate. That sounds meaningless.
I want it to fucking look better.
20 hour main campaign confirmed without including their replayable Tactical Simulator modeUncharted 4 shits on most of the games released last year. Probably this 007 too, though in this generational drought, I don't mind a by-the-numbers third person romp if it's done well. And it looks like it has been done well enough. I'm in unless we find out it's 3.5 hours long and there's no other content.
No it doesn't, resolution takes a HUGE hit and its very noticeable. Game objectively looks worse. But same settings 60fps does look better than 30fps..

A whole LOT better.

Plus, every other graphical feature known to man is either toned down or turned off completely. 30fps has all the graphical bells and whistles

IO makes horseshit B TIER games…add another one to their pile. That's the general vibe of the Hitman games. Pretty slow and quiet. Some people like them
Vick man. Is everything okay??Fingers crossed for a Remake.
Its probably set at easy difficulty. In hitman woa, enemies react in those particular situations. Sure there are ways to cheese the AI in it, but if you try to subdue someone close to another npc, they always detectThe usual bad AI in these games. He knocks someone out and the guy 2 feet away doesn't react because he has his back turned. Jumps over a counter making a bunch of noise and no one in the room hears. A guy looks right at him directly as he moves behind a wall and doesn't even react. The enemies are just punching bags that are standing around.
Maybe next gen we can get graphics like this/slol

Mp3 looks galaxies better than this thing...Reminds me a bit like Max Payne 3, but with poorer AI. I'm still in for it.

The pinnacle of shitty paced, boring ass action games where you walk and climb for 70% of the game would be a more apt description.
Weird. Hitman had reflections in mirrors and even with regular glass without rt.Again, no character self-reflections. I know it's not a miroir but it should still reflect the character:

MGS2 running on a potato hardware had it 25 years ago. This is really getting annoying in 2026 and on the hardware designed to run hardware RT pretty efficiently.
This is some very noticeable image fidelity regression. The tech has not evolved since start of PS4 Gen. Infamous SS looked like this.

In Hitman the harder the difficulty the longer the range of kos making a detectable sound, and the range also depends on which item or type of melee attack was used. The usual bad AI in these games. Yup. And while you could follow guided paths(mission stories), the best thing about Hitman was learning the level and the targets and creating your own opportunities. Drowning targets in their own vomit never gets oldWeird. Hitman had reflections in mirrors and even with regular glass without rt.

Someone made a sound range chart for each type of attack/weapon for Hitman WoA, I think it was BluntsNBeatz. I probably have it somewhere but I'll only look if someone is interested.
A simple example in Hitman is that Agent 47's footsteps in Trespassing or Hostile zones make no noise in Casual or Professional, but on Master or Hardcore Freelancer they do and enemies will investigate. On those difficulties you need to crouch walk.
Hitman also had an option to turn off Instinct. I imagine that will be here too.
Hopefully that goes for their field of vision too because I remember seeing a clip where Bond was crouch walking and on the other side of the area but close to him was an enemy and he should've easily spotted Bond...but didn't at all.Its probably set at easy difficulty. Stealth missions are more open and allow multiple approaches, but some segments like car chases etc will be linear ala Uncharted.Visuals are serviceable. I wonder how open-ended the approach for each mission is going to be. That's what makes or breaks the game for me. A more open-ended/experimental Uncharted doesn't sound terrible.
In Hitman the field of vision was determined by the way the head was facing. The speed at which you'd end up compromised depended on difficulty setting, as well as where you were (legal, trespassing, or hostile zones) and what you were doing (how visible you are, and what illegal action you are committing).Hopefully that goes for their field of vision too because I remember seeing a clip where Bond was crouch walking and on the other side of the area but close to him was an enemy and he should've easily spotted Bond...but didn't at all.
Give me smart, challenging AI please, in way more games.
Definitely not paying $70 for something that looks like crap to remain playable on series s or switch 2. Pandering to lowest spec machines=no sale.Stealth missions are more open and allow multiple approaches, but some segments like car chases etc will be linear ala Uncharted.
Don't get why so many people are shitting on the game, it doesn't have class-leading graphics, but it wasn't designed to be because it has to run on a Series S (and eventually Switch 2). This is what 3P AAA usually looks like, you want better then go to SIE or even Xbox stuff.
Well, too many companies are 'enshittifying' themselves so there's reason to worry, and the signs are there with DEI to be worried, plus some of the footage being bland or poorly executed or having poor performance. These have been pretty obvious tells up til now across the industry so everyone's frustrated it will happen here.Stealth missions are more open and allow multiple approaches, but some segments like car chases etc will be linear ala Uncharted.
