Actually I think he's put a fair amount of time into it, those 10 games on his list are simply better.

this thread is starting to creep me out. first the vinny pics, now the smoking. feels like we are getting too involved with their personal lives.

Cheapy D was what got me into Saints Row 2. He loved that game.

I remember when he got into Saints Row 3, I think he was under the impression that he was going to be in the main story, not a DLC character. I'd be surprised if he doesn't feel a little ripped off.

The only person with a lick of sense, when it comes to food, is Brad. Maybe I'm just overly biased, since I'm all for southern cooking, but COME ON! Ryan and Jeff always make me mad when they start naming food they don't like.


Listening (read as: mostly skipping) through the podcast has really made me surprised at just how many games I haven't played this year. I really need to get on it soon. Doesn't help that I've been more focused on backlog than newer stuff, too. : (
 
I wish I could check on my GOTY predictions. I might be five for five right now, but I can't remember if I picked Portal 2 for Alex. I think I did?

Actually, he thought at first he would be just be some pedestrian with a couple of lines of dialog but then they decided to give him a bigger role as a Homie. Not sure why it's taking so long for his DLC pack to get released, though.

Yeah, that's my fault. But I was picking the pears to bake HIM (and his loved ones) pies with my picture on top! I didn't think anyone would mind...

Heh, Skylanders making Jeff's list honestly did surprise me.

LittleBigPlanet 2 being snubbed disappointed me, and sadly did not surprise me. :-(

He five-starred that game and was SUPER-EXCITED when talking about it. I... I just don't get it.
 
My favourite downladable game this year was Might & Magic: Clash Of Heroes, so I was surprised that it wasn't in their HD remake list.
 
Kind of random, but in the Day 3 podcast Patrick and Brad talk about a specific jet kill in Battlefield 3. Does anyone know what video they're talking about?

Just to be fair, I've played Renegade Ops enough to know that there is definitely scaling in multi.

There are a lot more of those bastard rocket trucks than when you're playing single player.

Mind you, this is on hardcore. Perhaps it doesn't scale like this on normal.
 
Erik Wolpaw's top ten list, Vinny becoming furious about Dark Souls in his top ten video, and the jailbird Vinny clips were all highlights of day four.
 
Have they done a staff top 10 before? I don't remember them doing this before, but maybe I am crazy. Maybe that why their last deliberations podcast took so long because it seems like a slam dunk in favor of Saint's Row 3 for the #1 spot.

Yea, you crazy. They've been doing them for a while. However, their personal preferences are always entertaining in their deliberations. I'm hoping for a 3 hour podcast tomorrow because I have to drive for 4 hours :D

The first year they did GOTY, they just started off with their top 10 and whittled down from there.
