This is overrated. I started out this gen with all consoles and am down to 360 as my primary console with my gaming PC as the big daddy.

No way I can see myself getting all 3 next time. PC and one console for me.

If you have the money why not? I admidt my PS3 gets most of the work due to the large amount of exclusives, but the 360 gets its share for COD, the wii though mostly just sit at my dad's place not used by anyone.

Is this what the stretcher looks like for Tebow?

Schaub is better than Leinart and Yates, but don't act like he's amazing or anything.
85% of the time, he doesn't have to be. Our defense and rushing offense are that good. Re-sign Foster, give Schaub a WR2 (Kendall Wright?), and never let a certain somebody (#12) near a punt or kick ever again, and we'll be god-tier.

Nobody. I've lamented that both the AFCS and NFCW are basically dumping ground divisions that have no chance at ever developing lasting rivalries. It's more than being bad teams or having a singular dominant team. There's nothing non-football that ties the cities.

Getting the Rams in LA would help, but there's nothing that will help the AFCS. The teams are so far flung

Ummm the Texans/Titans is a rivalry and nobody can tell me otherwise. If you're not down here then maybe you don't understand.

#12 won't be back on this team next year

When I had a gaming PC I spent more time messing around with settings and the tech than actually playing games on iit.

Need a new PC, but I'm just tempted to get an iMac and be done with it, even though it's a bit of ripoff and the OS will take some getting used to.

Unless you have a dual-GPU setup you don't really have to mess around with much. Throw it on your setting of choice and call it a day. Of course if you want to mess around you can, but that's the beauty of it!

We, and I say this as a former Oiler fan, hate the Titans. They could care less about the Texans.

So there is less caring to be had is what you're saying ;)

sorry..pet peeve of mine

I think I'm done with Microsoft consoles. I can't think of the last 360 exclusive I cared about. The PC handles every game better, Sony and Nintendo for the exclusives.

UEFI also takes away the annoying monkeying with BIOS

Now that we're in the off season we can continue this battle...

Schaub is better than Leinart and Yates, but don't act like he's amazing or anything.

He's top ten, but maybe that speaks to the dregs that other teams put out at QB.

Gotta be honest.

Ever since i got the ipad i never use my PC anymore.

I'm an Apple virgin. Been holding out on the Ipad until they get the Retina display. Rumors are that it'll be on the Ipad 3 which means I'll finally have to cave.

I think I'm done with Microsoft consoles. I can't think of the last 360 exclusive I cared about. The PC handles every game better, Sony and Nintendo for the exclusives.

Agree. I really only use my 360 for the GAF sport leagues. And UEFI is indeed amazing. Hard to go back to regular BIOS after you get used to it.

Schaub is near the top of the second tier of QBs. That's about as far as I'm willing to go.

Yeah, that's my issue right now. I'm used to laptops and iPad, and the iPad is doing what my laptop once did. Still give the edge to laptops, but the iPad does get close and serves better when I'm on my couch.

Realistically, all I need a desktop for is file storage and occasional productivity. Want something with a small footprint, don't want it to take up space, and I don't want to spend much because I know it will collect dust.

I do not claim to be all that great with grammar, but I thought it was an accepted GAF in-joke to always misuse that expression

edit: But you agree right, titans fan don't give two shits about Houston fans or the Texans? It's a one way hate street

It really sucks that there's no Real Madden PS3 community on GAF, otherwise I would have literally zero reason to get a 360.

Then we agree, cause thats all i've ever said he was. I've never once said he was elite.

I would too levious, I would too.

I'd take him over flacco too. Flacco has good games and then he has wtf are you smoking games.

This and them never really improving the product is why i stopped buying it for PS3.

What benefits does UEFI give? I've heard about it on here before.

Just easier to use.

Yeah I don't think Titans fans care, and why should they? The hate is strong in Htown though.

I'd take a lot of QBs over Flacco. Flacco makes Schaub look elite

Yeah and it sucks when you look at the 360 community Madden thread.

Doesn't matter too much, bought Madden for the first time in 4 years this year and won't be buying again until a new generation. They just aren't improving the game as much as they need to.

I wore a pink red sox t-shirt, size ladies medium or something to a Red Sox game. I changed the number to read .233 (instead of 33) and changed the C to a C-. It was 2007 or 2008, the year Varitek really struggled and the Red Sox were flat ass. My buddy got me seats in the owners box (not the suite, but the "box" of seats next to the dugout. It was awesome. At first I was a touch worried, but one of the clubhouse "kids" asked if I wanted Varitek to sign it.

The fans were not amused, but knowing Boston it was probably because they thought only a qweeeeeaah would wear a pink shirt.

All that said, I did not get into a fight nor fear for my life. It's all old people at Red Sox games.
Guy I met went to school with the Wilpons. He went to a Mets game in the owners box with Fred there, and he chose to wear a Yankees Jeter jersey. Fred was not amused.

Colts did talk to Fisher. Maybe he didnt want to be part of releasing Manning?

Mentioned this yesterday. He doesn't want to coach in the AFCS and have to deal with annual media circus of returning to Nashville every year.

He also probably doesn't like the seeming dysfunction going on there. Too many unknowns, and the owner seems to be operating by the seat of his pants. Firing Caldwell after Caldwell had interviewed Spags for DC? Pretty shitty move

The Rams have had plenty of high picks in the past few years. Some have worked out, some did at first but then didn’t (but still could).

One has been a major disappointment.

Jason Smith, the second overall selection in the 2009 draft, has appeared in only 29 of 48 games. And when he has played, he hasn’t played in noteworthy fashion.

Drafted as a left tackle, Smith has landed on the right side. He soon will be landing on waivers, unless he agrees to a dramatic reduction in his salary.

Per a league source, Smith will face the time-honored take-a-pay-cut-or-take-a-hike ultimatum in the offseason, given that (per NFLPA records) Smith is due to earn a base salary of $10 million in 2012. With only $1 million of it guaranteed, the Rams won’t hesitate to dump Smith, if he won’t dump much of his scheduled pay.

In 2011, Smith received $8.5 million in base salary, as part of the windfall previously given to unproven players taken at the top of the draft.

So Davis is your Meast. As for the Least, the rest of the KSK gang thought Jacoby Jones earned the title. But I’m gonna go with the Packers’ receivers instead, particularly Jermichael Finley, who DERPed all over the joint Sunday night.

I’d also like to give honorable mention to Mike McCarthy, who called for an onside kick (NEVER CALL A SURPRISE ONSIDE WHEN YOU HAVE THE BETTER TEAM), and wore a one piece snowitard that left nothing to the imagination. How are you supposed to play hard for a coach who looks like he’s about to replace your muffler? THAT IS NOT A GOOD LOOK.

All Giants practicing today aside from Ahmad Bradshaw who is on the bikes taking his usual day or two off for the foot injury.

Injury report:
RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot)
DE Justin Tuck (shoulder)
DE Osi Umenyiora (ankle/knee)
CB Corey Webster (hamstring)
LB Mark Herzlich (ankle)

Herzlich is back at practice for the first time in a few weeks.
