The thing is that you can't say that the niners would have done anything for certain. The whistle was early based on turnovers I saw as early as last week but it's not challengeable regardless. The Giants did kick a field goal to win, and that came directly as a result of a fumble.

It shouldn't have come down to Kyle but he looked lost on special teams. The play calling in the 4th quarter was terrible. Alex Smith was not good at throwing the ball at all. When he scrambled outside to throw it was almost an automatic incompletion or sack. People will remember Kyle though. He was part of 3 complete disasters.

Playcalling and QB play was horrible on both sides in the 4th quarter.
Both defenses really stepped up.

Kyle Williams cost us the game. But let's not forget that he has been a surprisingly good contributor this season. With more experience and maturity (and far away from special teams), I see him as a good player in the future.
