well most space is taken up by movies. if you plan on renting a lot of them, you'll want more space. if you have your own library of movies on your home network, you can use Air Video to stream them in perfect quality without storing any of them on your tablet.

Would I realistically run out of 16b fast? Never used a tablet and I am flabbergasted by the small ammount of on board memory and the rediculous price increase for more memory.

Nah, 16 gb is more than enough.

At least it is for me on my 2. Using it for internet/news/music production apps.
