Celebs getting fat is boring... What about celebs getting IN SHAPE?

I gotta be honest, Jonah Hills recent weight... issues... have been rather intriguing to me. He was a fatty back when he did Super Bad but nothing shocking, but then he started hitting critical mass with Moneyball and The Sitter, then almost turned skinny with 21 Jump Street then, before that movie even comes out, he's up and getting fat again.
I'm betting he just has no control of his eating habits. nomnomnom

To be honest, Jonah Hill (and his character actor niche) annoys me....

Seth Rogen and Ethan Suplee look great now. Is it the result of a gradual change in diet and excercise, cos other people look odd when they lose similar amounts of weight. The advantages of smart dieting vs crash dieting?

I googled Jodie Marsh and judging from her other pics, i'd say that she looks better pre-body building.

There's something about her that doesn't look quite natural.

The tan is bottled, and it's to show muscularity under stage lights.
Anything to get an edge, huh? So I guess darker skinned people have an advantage?

Wait... Let me guess... Hair, nose, lips, and chest? And why is she holding her tits down in every picture that's been posted of her pre-poop color? Forgot to tape?

They pile it on too. I suppose you could say they have an advantage, but it's not like they're less shiny on stage than your light skin folks.

EDIT: Uh, I haven't read anywhere that humans with a racial background of darker skin have an easier time putting on lean muscle mass.

Weird story

My younger sister met him and Michael Cera once while she was out a casino club in Florida (Hard Rock Seminole)... quite a few years ago now, couldn't of been too long after Super Bad came out. Her and her group of friends ended up hanging out with them in the club for a while and then went back up to their room to play Guitar Hero. She has nothing to say about them besides how pathetic they were in their attempts to act like superstars and try to lay them. She has a few "funny" pictures and a video of Hill and Cera in the room - I say funny because they're extraordinarily pathetic. Seeing a video of fat drunk Jonah Hill hitting on my sister through the lens of her cellphone camera while she shows it off to everyone laughing at how pathetic he was kind of painted him in a bad light for me from the beginning.

Anyways, I thought he was good in Moneyball.

Edit: This is all a secondhand account obviously but apparently Michael Cera was pretty cool , a lot less shy and unassuming in-person.

Leann Rimes
She looked so much better before.

So it's a competition to see who can get the darkest.

Generally yes, if you're pale and don't tan you're just going to look like a blob of white under the lights.
That makes sense. Unless the lights were dark brown, then they wouldn't need to slather as much on.

It really is. The amazing thing is he did this more than once, and practically back-to-back.

Can't be that hard when you have a whole battalion of personal trainers, dietists, all the food you can afford and several months where you don't have to do anything but prepare for your role e.g. eat and work out.

You gotta love Deepseededinsecurity-GAF.

Anyone who works out and has muscles = TEH STEROIDS
Anyone who isn't twig-like and doesn't weigh less than 95 pounds = TEH SEA-COW

It's easy for Celebs to loose or gain weight. $$$ is a big motivator. If someone offer to give me hundreds of thousands pr millions to loose 30lbs while adding muscles in a month, easy as pie. On my own, I willl be lucky to loose 10lbs. Add in having access personal trainers, dietitian, cooks and assistants, they can easily change their figure drastically from one role to another even within weeks. For average Joe, that would be an amazing story.

LeAnn looked better before. Undecided on Carrie Underwood.

Wow at Jennifer Hudson.

<=====This guy approves!

Ugh, she was so fat. She's gotta be AT LEAST 125 pounds in that first pic. Sorry ladies, but if you are over 110 then you're too fat for me.

In all seriousness, though, I think this is an awesome idea for a thread. Please don't shit it up with pics that are off topic. (I know, my joke was a derailer, but I was only kidding and am moving on).

I think this could be another great inspiration thread for people who want to lose weight. The Weight Loss (w/pics) thread is still the best thread in GAF history.

No mention of Drew Carey?

Colin Cowherd on ESPN radio was talking about him the other day and had some interesting observations.

This is what happens when you go from yah-rah Cleveland Ohio rocks to living in West Hollywood, California working 3 days a week, making 10-15 million a year taping The Price is Right.

He's got the best, cushiest job in TV, living in some of the best weather in the world.

If a person isn't competing in athletic competitions, I see no problem with steroids. (Even then I don't have a problem as long as they are legal for all). I really do not understand the people that freak out over guys like Dre potentially juicing. Who gives a shit? If I didn't want to have more kids I probably would as well.

Steroid abuse is bad, there are medical reasons why people use steroids, it's well known that mild androgenic steroids are given to ill patients to protect against muscle wastage.

I'm not defending or proposing steroids, I'm just defending the fact that the majority of people know fuck all about it, never known anyone personally to use it and talk down on people that have used it and discredit any results they got from it. People always go on about side effects but need to know that once cycle or careful use of steroids can be beneficial to your goals with the right PCT and additional support supps

But anyway

I have no idea who Docpan is...

I've been working my ass off for a year in the gym and have had great gains, but I'll admit right now if I had the knowledge to do it right, I'd do a cycle or 2 of something in order to see some extra progress for a bit. I can't figure out why people hate on the idea so much, as if all the work you do means nothing if you choose to boost your bodies default.

I simply don't have enough knowledge to get said materials and do so in a safe manner, so all natural I will remain, but someone using such means shouldn't have their results instantly discredited.

I don't care if he uses roids or anything, and I am glad he is in shape and living that healthy life.

But Dr. Dre just looks weird to me in pictures. It's a different kind of buff, I can't explain it. Maybe because I have this engrained image of Dre from the 90's.

I was in the same boat as you.

I still haven't taken though due to work purposes, I don't think we get drug tested but due to my size people think I am on steroids anyway, if I use them I'll be TOO big.

But anyway I've done research over the past 2 years, know the ins and outs, side effects, etc. All the info is out there, but takes a lot of reading. I can point you in the right direction to do your home work though

Yeah the issue is more of a "I know the info is there, but there's so much info that it's going to take ages to even sift through to the accurate stuff", if my experience reading up on shit like toning is any indication on the level of misinformation out there.

I have worked out all my life and stayed in pretty good shape. About 3 years ago a workout partner of mine really wanted to try out steroids so we documented his progress. He started with a beginner cycle(I think it was 7 weeks of testosterone) and 4 weeks of Dianabol plus he did a kickstart. His plan was to do the beginner cycle and two more cycles.(On a side note I had no idea how expensive this stuff could be). Anyway off he went. Now it needs to be mentioned in our workouts I was always the driving force for both of us. I was the one pushing for more reps more weights. I was the one calling him a hour before working out to get him to meet me on time, I am sure you know the dynamic. That said I could not fathom the progress he made in such a short amount of time. I have always out-benched him by a plate. Before he was even done with the beginner cycle he was lifting 10lbs then 25lbs more than me! Not only that he was getting a lot more ripped muscle(especially in his lats and delts). It wasn't long before he was noticeably bigger than me. He achieved all of this with workouts that were about 1/2 as intense as mine would be. He loved long rest periods(drinking fountain, chatting with people) but it didn't matter he was eclipsing me in every way. Obviously I am not saying people that use steroids don't workout hard but using them definitely gives you a huge advantage and lets you get away with a lot. About 2 weeks into his first cycle after the beginner course though he really started to break out all over his back and it just wasn't worth the gains he was making to all of sudden have acne so he stopped. Now this is what makes me never want to do steroids. Almost all of his gains slowly went away. I am sure if he had amped up his intensity in those weeks he could have held on to some of them but they slowly came off. He missed a week of training and I couldn't believe when I next saw him how much he had reverted back to his old body size. Anyway long, rambling story but basically my experience with the "juice".

Probably should take this to PM

That's her without the tan juice.....
I get that body building women pretty much lose all their breast fat and need implants, but why go for D cups? It looks so out of place and not at all attractive. Might as well cut a grapefruit in half and stick it in there.

She had the implants for a while before she started the bodybuilding stuff I think :)
