I see you're speculatin'. Keep it up. Bioware wants lots of it.
From everybody.

Liara's children confirmed
she had to make do with Joker ;_;

1: {TEMP: Rick -- you shouldn't be seeing this. Wrong convo is hooked up if you are}
Liara melds with Shepard at least 3 times without being a love interest if you play as a Paragon. Given how chummy the two are, I could see her taking what is necessary to have a child without Shepard's consent.
Also, I'm sad the Hanar quest bugged out for me. I never got to see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQau3CthTgI
Ok, so I bet was answer 150 pages ago, but when I was on the Citadel, and the Illusive Man was about to execute Anderson, the two final reputation choices were grayed out. How in the hell was I supposed to access those? I had only probably 4 renegade points, and a full paragon bar.
Apparently you have to pick the blue/red space magic options during every encounter with him in the game, and one of them is hard to get or something.Ok, so I bet was answer 150 pages ago, but when I was on the Citadel, and the Illusive Man was about to execute Anderson, the two final reputation choices were grayed out. I had some Renegade points and I managed to do it.You needed 100% either way. Pretty stupid

There's also mentions of a deleted part of the Garrus loyalty thing where you shoot bottles in the Citadel. Apparently C-Sec showed up at some point. Reading it all through.
EDIT: Here's most of what there is on the ending:
In addition to what darkpaladinmfc said, I believe I heard that the bar was bugged on the PC. However, as a Renegade those options were present.Ok, so I bet was answer 150 pages ago, but when I was on the Citadel, and the Illusive Man was about to execute Anderson, the two final reputation choices were grayed out. Had to use Paragon options each and every time you spoke to TIM.

So... any developments in the past day or is it all still hysteria and pandemonium here?

Gibbed found something called "Stage Directions" in the conversation structure.
So if this is the end of Shepard's story, what is the relevance of the secret ending clip? What is the point?
That they are considering changeing the ending... or something along those linesSo... any developments in the past day or is it all still hysteria and pandemonium here?
So what happened with the reputation choices with the Illusive Man at the end? I killed his ass, but it didn't feel as good as it should have because of the stupid reputation thing.
Can't touch this :3The mods on the bioware forums started to close alot of threads and when i messaged one mods this : U MAD ?

1: If Joker Shut Down
2: If importing with Dead Shepard
2: If Shepard has an active romance with Liara, she gives him a kiss. We get a shot of James raising an eyebrow at this beautiful blue alien kissing Shepard.
3: Liara comes over, she's a very hot and obviously capable woman. James raises an eyebrow, intrigued.
He shot himself in the head in my game, Saren style.
Do you still have access to your origin games?
Just finished it...
A fucking JRPG ending????? Why Bioware??? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
A lot of companies seem to think that arty nonsense ending are "good writing". *sigh*
After ME1 I expected a lot more. ME2 was kinda ok as filler... but 3 was all military nonsense. And how the hell did the reapers even get here? They were 300000 lightyears away.
The correct plot of ME3 would have been... go to the reapers by building a prothean device (crucible) and explore the darkspace location where they live and find a way to take em out by finding out about their past. No frontal assault nonsense. This is not COD.
Well, at least the ending wasn't anywhere as close to as bad as FFXIIIs.Just finished it...

Yeah let's introduce a new power the last 30 seconds (in kid form... puke) they we never even heard of and never even cared about.

That's a good point. His potential death does feel unearned.Someone else's words, my thoughts. No reason there couldn't have had a happy ending.

COD is a JRPG?
See I think it's worse since I stopped giving a shit at some point during FFXIII. Bioware managed to hook me until that glowy elevator. It hurts more since they wasted a perfectly good story.Well, at least the ending wasn't anywhere as close to as bad as FFXIIIs.
A laser beam blasts Shepard in the face, charring his body.
But he gets back up through the power of friendship to confront his final foe: A god-type character shoehorned into the story at the last minute.
Holy shit. It really is a JRPG ending.

Multiple analogies in a single post.
Don't forget the numerous logical fallacies!
It hurts more since they wasted a perfectly good story.

On some level i kinda wish the Reapers won and it ended like that
Well you put up a great fight Shepard but it wasnt in the cards this time....
So I just read through that enormous temporary file and basically:
- It doesn't detail the plot too much.
- It seems to have been written at least partially in November based on a note dated Nov 22nd.
- All details about the ending and vent kid are identical to what we see in the final game.
- There are a bunch of deprecated vocal branches detailed in there, but most of them seem to be placeholders for what we ended up getting.
- Everything in there points to the ending being literal, as if we didn't know that already.
I was fully expecting a Dark Tower ending, with Shepard and crew surviving to warn the next cycle.

God. Damn. It. I thought that mind meld at the end was kind of suspicious but my Shepard didn't think much of it since I thought Liara knew that my Shep doesn't swing that way. Didn't think she'd take advantage of him in his moment of weakness.
