haha, I think most of us actually do love the country (I know I do; plus I work at an Army Depot), but a lot of it is sarcastic jabs at the insane patriotism some people partake in. It's all in good fun

That's good to know. Some of those pictures are insane. Are the people who are making them also in on the joke, or not always?
Some are and some aren't. Most of the ones you'll find on this site are. Our country is too big to make generalizations like that.
