Jesus, 2000 NPCs at once? That sounds insane. Really looking forward to AC3, just wish it wasn't coming out so close to Halo 4. If I get it at release, I'll only have a week to enjoy it. Might wait till my Halo 4 play dies down a little before diving in.
Lookin' pretty good. Aside from that Jakal, which looks worse and worse every time I see it. That thing is seriously the Blackout of Jackal designs. CIO armor looks alright though, better than in the pre-order art at least. It's really strange how vastly the quality of character design can be throughout one game.

Yeah it bugs me, they just changed too many key features about the jackals face which really seems unnecessary. The art is good, but its a weird change.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it with pretty insane anticipation, but I might wait to a Black Friday time frame to purchase as well because it and H4 release a week apart.

I'm really, really looking forward to ACIII, and I've never even played an AC title. Because it's coming out so close to Halo 4, I'll probably wait until Christmas time to get it a little cheaper and have the Halo 4 hype train slow down. It seems like a game I'll want to get some quality time with, so I'd rather give it more than a consistent week.

Also, the Total Recall reboot is fantastic. It has a great setting fairly reminiscent of the Syndicate reboot. Would recommend seeing the film(as well playing Syndicate).

That Railgun Chief is mine day 1 and Laskey but i wonder what scale he is in.
Have you tried brushing round the outside of the rain drops with a opacity brush, currently the rain around chief seems to just drop off like every drop is bouncing the same hight of his armor. Try to fix that up.

I have no idea, if they still do it.

EDIT oh yeah, the Elites have slightly too short mandibles. I think. Hard to say without may pics from them. Otherwise, i like it all. Still want an explanation why the Chief's armor changes so radically though. Nanotech is not an answer because it is limited to Mjolnir GEN 2 armors, as i understood.

One of the major reasons TO is a failure, I feel. I've played the list in a team of five and seen guys quit in the pre-match lobby at the mere sight of a full team, many times. If ever a list needed party matching then TO is in most desperate need.
Its other major problem is that quitting is more detrimental in Objective than it already is in other lists. And yet it's almost customary for one player to quit after going down a single cap in CTF. DIDO will remedy this problem though.

Im having a blast on my first time playing Darksiders atm, Iv just cut my to buy list down by around 5 games because im not going to have time to play them.
I have to say I am perfectly happy with the scale of the visual changes 343 are making. The way I look at Halo 4 is that it is somewhat of a reboot - it isn't Bungie's Halo anymore, it's 343's take on Halo and they should be allowed to develop it however they wish, without being chained down by the past. I'm looking forward to a game that captures the Halo feel but is still fresh both in its visuals and gameplay mechanics.

God forbid, you score the flag in a 1 flag game, they will quit, and you will have 3 rounds of complete boredom.
I seriously hope 343 offer a more streamlined objective mode in H4, it is my favorite playlist in all the Halo's.
Reach objective in terms of the whole playlist is an abysmal mix of unnecessary and more importantly unfun gametypes.
The problem with the Jackal with people is that it has no real similarities to its predecessors, I like the design. I'll also be reasonable to the fact that as you said, it's 343's take on Halo.
Now, if 343 changed the design for Halo 5, then I'd question what they were up to in terms of design continuity.
Also Halo tonight Myyke, also did you DL that transformers demo?

This pretty sums up what I thought about it. Spartan Armor's growing on me, along with all the other art changes, but the Jackal just seems...odd, it's gone from Bird-like to Dinosaur.

I'm still holding out hope we'll a more streamlined objective mix in Reach! I'm probably delusional on that front though. (Only CTF, Hill and Oddball please).
With Reach it feels like Bungie got a bit giddy at the creative flex that Megalo gave them and dumped all their wacky ideas on the already-struggling-in-the-previous-Halo Team Objective. So many options, such little progress in terms of quality.
The lesson from Reach: just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
I can see why some people have an issue with the Jackal, but the way I see Halo 4 is that it is a sequel story wise, but in a visually rebooted universe. I am perfectly fine with the visual changes compared to the original Halo trilogy, but I fully expect Halo 5 and 6 to expand upon the baseline visual style established by 343 in Halo 4.
Also that's a double nope, off to see DKR again tonight but should be on during the weekend.
More chance of playing a game of BTB in Reach with 0 quitters!
