Holy shit that's awful.

The parts that are orange should appear to be orange. All the areas that are white should look white. What's shown in that screen above is atrocious. Based on various pictures though it appears to be a crapshoot on whether or not we'll get a really yellow screen (incredibly warm temp) or just a mildly yellow screen. I'll be returning mine over and over to Target until I get one I like.

The whole menu is orange, that's why it shows orange. There is no white, just orange.

I'm thinking it's just the Settings Menu which is showing the yellow...or has the colour just changed? Games and main menu looks fine.

The settings menu has always been orang-y yellow.

Blue looks so good, but I always go blue. I was thinking about red this time (never owned a red handheld), but I dunno.

I don't know if it's because I'm less tired or there is an adaptation time but the 3d works wonderfully today and I don't have the problems I had yesterday.

It's really a very great upgrade in every way. Good job on nintendo's part, with the GBM, it's the most well built handheld I ever purchased from them.

This is absolutely the case for me. I turn off the 3D when I'm tired because my eyes will simply lose focus on the effect.

well, the other thing was when I dropped playin on the 3DS, I didnt like the amount of games that had been released, I mean, the last game I bought was Zelda. However, some of these Mario games and such look really fun to play, and I'm still waiting for a 3D Pokémon

Got my LL today and the thing is SO sexy. No scratches. Heavier than I anticipated (a good thing as I expected the plastic to be lighter). Speakers are average. Screen is amazing. Just like after buying an iPad I couldn't go back to my iPhone (for games) the same rings true for LL/XL and the original 3DS.

Of course it will, but you gotta assume that he knew to turn it off on the OG 3DS, so he'd know to do the same on the XL. There's been plenty of pictures taken of the XL with powersave off to know that there's a yellow issue. Seems to be that the larger Nintendo make their screens, the warmer the temp. Was true on the DSi XL as well.

My screen is warmer, it's not yellow though (see pic).

I'm in the UK, and picked the cheapest shipping option. Works out a few quid cheaper than the cradle/charger bundle that'll be released in the UK in a couple of weeks, and Game already, literally forced a charger upon me already as part of their bundle.

Still came out to 25.89 (roughly 16.57 GBP) with the cheapest shipping and that still too expensive for me.
