at WiiU launch, I expect the graphics to be significantly better than PS4. I don't expect PS4 to catch up for at least 12 months if not longer.

I have actually been pretending to myself that it will launch in october. This of course is solely based on the quite possibly erroneous release dates for some Wii U games on Amazon.

Not sure but 3DS stuff started coming in early February for the late March launch last year. Based on that early October would be a good guess.
Since I'm not yet a ProGaf Grafix critic, and also more of a visual person, rather than verbal, can some one post a comparison picture of the expected difference between WiiU and 720/ps4 graphics?

Since we don't have concrete specs for any of them (why so secretive Nintendo?) it's all just speculation, but I believe a fair comparison would be to take the best looking game on the 360/PS3 and assume that as a baseline for AAA titles on the Wii U.
While the PS4/720 will be more on par with the best looking games currently on PC as baselines. (Battlefield 3, Witcher 2, etc.)

Are you kidding me? The later two were built on high end PCs while Pikmin 3 started as a Wii game. That is not even close to how the gap will look in the end. Hell there a bunch of PS3/360 games that look better than Pikmin 3 and we all know the Wii U is more powerful than them. Also, you're assuming Watch Dogs is going to be on the next gen consoles and Star Wars? The truth of the matter is there is no way to tell what the gap will look like as he wasn't even asking about launch
It spent the majority of it's development period as a Wii game, doubt they bothered to start the game from the beginning again when they decided to make it a WiiU title.
