I only just realised that's a joey. I thought it was supposed to represent the skin of the pouch.

Man I've spent hours trying to get the Joey/pouch/zero to work. I have a newfound appreciation for iconography.

That sort of training was apparently quite common in the Eastern Bloc countries so I wouldn't be massively surprised if it persisted today.

It also seems is a way to avoid end working on and Ipad factory, ot seems olympic members have a better life once they get in the teams or get medals.
Where is the UNICEF ( U.N.). It seems like some kind of slavery to me.

I just had the chance to see the show at the end of the games and I have to say that Britain really got it right. Nice job!
The funny thing about it is that they could play songs from Britain for 6 hours and still everybody would be happy.

Maybe have a go at sending it to local news (who are likely to be interested in the Olympics for a few days more at least). That or get a groundswell of internet support from somewhere... but I don't really know how that works.

I don't get that particular feeling at all.
The closest was when a small city sent a few policamen to dig out a foreigner (Russian?)'s passport from the dumpster after he accidentially threw it away. The message board people were pissed because the PO-LICE would never do that for a Chinese citizen.

It's a fucking Machintosh G3 on wheels landed Mars, not an American.
Never have so many hijacked the achievements of so few. It's actually worse now - being a fat, stupid American - given what others in the same circumstances have shown they can do. But I'm sure that's gone over the heads of everyone who shared this image.
