So just nothing I do stops this Disk IO thing from happening.
Restarting steam does nothing, waiting does nothing. Am I screwing something up by continuously trying this? Should I just delete the preload and redo the whole thing?

Restarted once, second time it tried to tell me to reboot I said nope, game launched anyways.

Off to bed while it downloads. Not liking all the annoying install issues I'm hearing about in this thread. How does an endless .Net Framework install loop that seems to be impacting tons of people, not get caught during testing?
You just have to click on restart later.
Cancel the update and then have steam verify the game cache.
Personally it went smooth for me. It had to repair, but it only took a few minutes. Love that you could configure the entire thing before you boot up. Everything ran well without a hitch. This is an impressive PC effort. Love it.

Steam will update the game as the content becomes available. At least that's how the saints row season pass worked.
I ordered on Sept 3rd, still no key. I'm not in a huge rush to play (being it's almost 1am, and I work tomor... err, today), but it'd be nice to download/unlock.
Look up port forwarding(long process so I don't know if that's your thing), but even without that you should atleast be able to join others. Weird
For PC (for now). Consoles are fine.
Was said before that the key is under your account. He changed how the keys went out and everyone had them on Saturday even if you got no email.
The developers specifically said that port forwarding isn't required for the multiplayer in the PC version. Maybe the servers are fucky.

For PC, that's right. For 360 and PS3 you can play splitscreen co-op offline or co-op online.

So is it normal to get a legendary gun off your first fight? The physx effects from the corrosive goo it shoots out are actually not killing my system. With a 570 and physx on high its not locked at 60fps but Im not seeing any drops below 45 when stuff is flying all over.
My friends are in game just fine. I'm the only one missing. But damnit Steam Gearbox whoever let me play co op!
