I found the Ndesu fight even worse, and impossible in co-op so I had to do it solo.

I also did the Jill fight solo, but I found a really good strategy for that somewhere online.

Ndesu fight was horrible with coop but after countless retries we managed to beat him on pro, that was the only tedious fight.
Don't even remember the Jill fight so it must have been easy.

Yes.

I prefer the 360 controller for RE4 (I have both HD versions) but ymmv. My PS3 version also has weird sounding audio that my 360 version doesn't, but people have reported issues on that end with the 360 version too.

Some people like the Wii version the best, but if you've never played it before, do yourself a favor and play it as it was originally designed. HD edition is the way to go. It's not the most polished of the HD ports, but it's by no means bad.

I already own the GC and Wii versions of RE4, maybe someday i'll get the HD version. How much is it on PSN store/xbl marketplace?

Damn... RE5 is still awesome. Been co-op'n last night and a bit this morning. Wish I was a slightly better player cause I get killed sometimes and I hate letting my partner down (especially on damn QTE's!!!!!!) but shit happens I guess. Anytime I start to feel a little cocky I play a round of mercs and quite convincingly remind myself I'm terrible. haha I think I will be better at mercs in RE6, hopefully.

All hail Resident Evil bolt actions... they are the greatest things. With the best reloads and animation for working the bolt. So rewarding just laying waste to a mob of enemies without missing a shot. I cleared the field and my buddy somehow got grabbed by the last dude and while he was struggling I burst the Majini's head. Guy sent me a message, "shit that looked crazy!" and I thought, yeah these RE games are pretty great.

Yeah it's great. RE4 up-rezzes very nicely. A shame they use the same old 480i cutscenes for Ada's scenario from the PS2, but otherwise it's a great HD conversion. Near instant load times, solid frame rate through and through (shame it wasn't 60).

Well if you own the GC version then play that if you don't want to spend any more money on a game you own twice but haven't played. The HD version is $20 but sometimes it's been discounted in the past for PS+ members.
