Since my question was ignored in the main thread I'll ask it here:
Does the new game force them to retain their true look?
You should be buying the LNs too then! If you can read Japanese I mean.
Man. Yall 2 are the only ones that I know that enjoy CF most out of the two. Out of all the songs thus far though I like Yume Sekai the best. It's really well done.
Let me guess. He's going to get raped by someone who turned out to be his sister in game, isn't he?
What level is the language on? Is the book in mostly kanji, or is it primarily hiragana/katakana?
I'm a bigger fan of CF too. The new opening is still pretty good, but I have a fondness for CF.
Why would rape have any part in the story?
you're not being a dick ..but if a question is asked i'll answer ..it's not like i spoiled anything in my last 2 answer didn't i ?
i'm even considerate enough to tell people to contact me by PM if they want to know more ...
so i'll continue doing what i'm doing while being considerate to everyone enjoyment ( at most ).
For example : chickdigger was refering to the LNs so this was a answer to those..my answer was simple ..for other things i talk about things shown in the anime unless stated by spoilers..
Fair enough!
Might as well ask you then: is the anime supposed to cover the entire LN? Is the LN even over yet? Might pick it up after the series ends depending on how part 2 ends.
There are at last check 11 volumes of the LN, and weve covered 2 so far. They would have to do multiple seasons to cover more. The LN is still going on.
So while it probably not the case technically the girl he saw in a compressed jpeg may not be Asuna but rather someone whose avatar looks coincidentally like hers.
Silly Kirito.
Thanks for the info !
Rewatched 14 right now, it was better. But ugh at 11-13. Keeping 15 for tomorrow.
Yeah, and thinking again about 13, it was actually pretty funny (1st part)/good.
The bad really just hits whenYui enters the picture and when they get unbelievably raburabu with each other around the time they suddenly get married. They've seriously started hanging with each other (on a pretty platonic level, too!) what, two months ago? And then Asuna is talking about getting married and getting old together outside. WTF.
I can get behind their relationship, but holy bollocks at the way it escalated uncontrollably, it ruined it for me.
I just watched it, I don't mind the cliches. I love dem particles

Episode 5:
Sweet jesus SA:O ass shots are one thing. But shameless repeated ass shots are just plain annoying. At least the cliff hanger ending of this episode was redeeming enough, I love a good mystery.
Sword Art Online 15:
ARE YOU SERIOUS AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
The series of shameless contrivances leading into the new arc is just magical. Let's break it down:
- Asuna is still unconscious because reasons. Kirito suspects Kayaba even though the dude totally leveled with the both of them in the previous episode.
- the new villain? ASUNA'S BOYFRIEND. Who, of course, can't just be some dude that she was already engaged to, but the creepiest smarmy molester dude possible because anyone else who could possibly ever love Asuna other than Kirito has to be the embodiment of ugliness and perversion and patriarchal control. He licked his fucking lips unironically to express just how evil and creepy he is.
- HE IS GOING TO MARRY ASUNA WHILE SHE IS STILL UNCONSCIOUS. And her father is okay with this.
- oh, and this guy? Just happens to be the guy IN CHARGE OF KEEPING THE SAO SERVERS UP AND RUNNING so that he can conveniently dangle the threat of deleting Asuna's consciousness over Kirito should he attempt to interfere with the wedding.
- and on top of this particular romantic predicament? Kirito's imouto incest subplot what the fuck. No, seriously. WHAT. And she's being presented as a legitimate romantic alternative to Asuna.
- except they're really lolcousins because that's how these incest stories work. Do otaku ever get the real thing, even in the trashiest of trashy LNs?
- and now Kirito's princess is in another castle and he has to dive in and save her in less than a week so she can refuse her fucking disturbing coma marriage to Creeper-san. THAT'S THE PLOT.
It's kind of hard for me to take all of this in. I mean, this is some pretty special stuff.
Also didn't realize that Kirito was so 1%, but damn his home is spacious and well-equipped. I guess everyone who picked up a NerveGear at launch was probably 1% given what the thing probably costs. Just look at Asuna's dad.
it's not a mariage ..it's an adoption into a new familly.. he is keeping his daughter alive , you bet the father is okay with this.... i don't even have to add that he was manipulated all those years , right ?
What bugs me about the headset is how SAO was the first game to supposedly support it..... but after SAO's release and the mass deaths that followed there were follow-up games which supported the technology. And not only did the government allow them to be released, but they also found people willing to use the headsets.
Someone who's read the novels please tell me if this is a one off moment of insanity or not.
Not only is it not a one-off. There's a third game after the fairy game. It's about guns.

Ugh, does the incest plot continue to? Please tell me that in the process of trying to find Asuka he doesn't attract a harem of women. Please.
But yeah, it's obvious Koyasu bastard has been manupulating Asuna's father. He wants the family assets.
You know if the creepy ass cousin incest wasn't so god damned in your face the whole time, episode 15 would've been really decent. Seeing Kirito try to adapt back into the real world could've been explored a lot more.
People were forced to roleplay to the extreme .. that why they showed us many ways to live within SAO...Silica managed to keep up with her dragon , some other went full PK , other openned shop , some married , and some went to fish ..In those conditions falling in love is nothing uncommon. Also I find it hilarious that in the entire premise of this anime, someone is criticizing the fact that two teenage characters with no romantic experience fall in love with each other playing an online game together. For all they knew any given day could've been their last day being alive, I don't see what's so far-fetched about them developing feelings for one another in a short period of time. It was more about symbolism than anything, it's not like they could've had real kids, which is why the Yui arc was important for them since it was the closest thing they had to a daughter.
Not saying it's great writing but god damn, if that's what bugged you about this anime the most why would you continue to watch it.
lights spoilers for ep16 and onwards:There's a defense force for everything here on GAF, you can bet your ass that people would still play games using deadly headsets.

For some reason it's just that episode. Idk what happened.
Packaging for the Japanese Vol 1. Looks sweet. Now we wait for Aniplex USA to release it for us!

Figured I'll post here.
He's just this cool lonely teenage guy in black who happens to be a beta player and also so very good at games.
I think the series would be big enough for a dub so I doubt we'd get even half of the stuff pictured there...![]()
Figured I'll post here.
"Didn't live up to my expectations" summed up my thoughts. I'll spoiler tag it just in case.
Particularly about Kirito. In the first few episodes we see him going all alone but is more powerful than most other people in the game. Not to mention he declined joining guild...so there must be something else, right? I expected we'll find out a huge flaw in him to make his character more interesting later...
But no, he just is. No explanation whatsoever--he's just this cool lonely teenage guy in black who happens to be a beta player and also so very good at games.
The worst part of SAO Arc is the romance part, I suppose. You have 6000 ish people trying to complete the game for two years, then the two best players decided just to get married, settle down, fuck each others. No other explanation why they stopped, just because they are so in love with each other so screw other people on life support. The very worst part is their virtual daughter which seemingly had no use in story other than to emphasis that Kirito and Asuna loved each other so much omg it's sweet.
The end game was stupid, with the whole you can not die if you wished hard enough thing. And Kirito leaving his sickbed just to find Asuna? What about his family?
Then again, maybe this kind of story worked for the intended target audience. Despite its stupidity I do enjoy the show for what it is. It's not something I'd recommend for any people searching any semblance of good story, but hey, it's entertaining. Definitely continuing with adjusted expectations right now.
Still, episode 15 is not a good start lol.
Again I thought Kirito had problems in his home that made him a great MMO player. But no! He's adopted, but his mother loved him, his sister loved him so much she clenched fist when Kirito says another girl's name, even the father of the love of his life seemed okay with him!
Asuna's fiance will be much, much, much more interesting if he's not described as a disgustingly despicable man. Nobody liked him and it makes the story much more predictable. What if her fiancee was just this good guy with a good social status and nothing particularly wrong, just that he was already betrothed to her? That would make Asuna and Kirito's future choice more interesting.
Re: Kirito
Re: taking a break from front line[/spoiler]
Re: end of Aincrad
Did I sound like that? I'm just a bit disappointed he's not the character I thought he was. Of course a perfectly normal person can be the best player in the game, but I find a character like this not interesting at all. Like I said, this might work for the main audience. Not a big deal.
Then perhaps it's a matter of storytelling instead of the story itself. It's certainly what I felt when watching. Kirito doesn't look like he's hesitating in continuing the game before his last near death experience. Maybe I'm missing a few details?
I can't connect with his decision at all at this moment. This is when I think the writer tried too hard to show that he loves her. I think nothing is lost in his character if he woke up, trying to find the people nearest to him and asking what happened to all SAO players, including Asuna. Or maybe that's what he's trying to do? I might need a rewatch on this part.
Does Klein ask Asuna to be his girlfriend in the novel, or is that an in joke because his voice actor is also the lady bothering Sanji?
klein asks a lot whevener he get the chance to...
he is that desperate to find ... someone
He shouldn't feel like that, considering he is the best character in SAO.
I believe it's kanji. I could be wrong.
I didn't really enjoy the series after volume 1 & 2 though. Gave up on it after volume 4.
Not sure if we're allowed to post that btw....
The players exploits part was hilarious, here's hoping there is more griefing this season.
