This doesn't seem accurately proportioned, unless they made the buttons way smaller now.Anyone posted these IGN comparisons yet? It looks sooo good.

No thank you. Keep the colour.![]()
I think the button colours are letting the controller down. It'd be a shame to leave them behind, but the Vita and the PSP survived without them. I'm more prone to say the square button rather than 'the pink button', anyway.
i really don't like the glossy finish behind the buttons and the dpad, other than that it looks absolutely great.

Pull out your current dualshock and dick around with it seeing how often you would touch something outside of the circle around the face buttons. When I just did that I was surprised that they haven't put buttons there before with how simple it is to reach them, and never going near the area accidentally.
Would rather that just use R3 and L3 with stick movement.
Has it been clarified yet what the mic port does?
I'm curious as to why there needs to be a dedicated port for the headset.
Multiple HS on one console?
First controller without Start since the NES?
I love the look of the controller, it looks like they improved every part of it from the DS3.
It is possible that they change that. Still early.

I just realized that the headphone jack is proprietary and the same as PSP's.
Any regular earphones/buds work with the psp though so its not an issue.
That is true, but you'll need certain proprietary headsets for audio chat, no?
They most certainly will be made of some grippy material. The question is, will it be shit and quickly wear off after a few months and lead to the messy 'chaffed rubber' effect.I wonder if the textured backs on the grips will be rubbery.
I might not be the former but I agree with the latter. Can't wait to get impressions of it in people's hands at E3.I'm an expert who has held a few controllers in my time. The DS4 looks like a winner.
Add me to the "DS4 is so sexy" camp, I can't wait.

isnt anyone surprised they showed zero games that actually uses the touchpad? is it for the ui or something?
I hope they tightened up the analog sticks.
Good to hear. The loose sticks have always bothered me about the Playstation controllers.Yoshida claims they did.
No, just the slot is. I imagine the included headset will plug in to there for volume control or other features. The headphone port is the most exciting part to me. It's such a hassle to plug headphones into the TV. Plugging it into your controller is so much more convenient.I just realized that the headphone jack is proprietary and the same as PSP's.
