The fact they are placed to the right of the normal Eevee kind of further proves my guess that we will be getting two Normal Eeveelutions. One female only, one male only, coinciding with X & Y too
omg. this makes sense.

Pretty sure Pokemon Smash announced Purloin by itself pre-BW, it was the first show after they switched to the new layout iirc.
I sure hope it isn't that boring. Flying and Fighting would've been great.omg. this makes sense.
You can do that in BW2.All I want is to be able to EV train my pokemon super quick and efficiently. Is that too much to ask for?

You can do that in BW2.
Really? Without spending hours on one pokemon? I will have to read up on it
Even in 4th gen it only took like 45 minutes for one pokemon if you had the system down.
Breeding doesn't have anything to do with EVs.Yeah but breeding takes a while too, I just wish it would be faster
Mewtwo's new form? Mewtwo's new form.
Breeding doesn't have anything to do with EVs.
IVs are an entirely different ballgame.
Gentleman pugilist evolution? Yes pleaseI sure hope it isn't that boring. Flying and Fighting would've been great.
You could very well be right with the genders. However, they don't have to be Normal-type. For example, the delicate Sylveon could be pure Flying-type. And what's a counterpart to Flying? The masculine Fighting-type.The fact they are placed to the right of the normal Eevee kind of further proves my guess that we will be getting two Normal Eeveelutions. Looking forward to the new Pokemon. Hopefully they'll look cool!
Eh? If they keep Black/White 2's breeding mechanics - which they probably will - then breeding and training amazing Pokemon won't be too bad. It won't be an even playing field for "EVERYONE" - if you put in the work required to get a good breeding set-up then you can legitly breed and train a top-notch team in a week or two. And yes, some of these people will still be copying Smogon teams.
So people who don't put in the work, who don't do the boring grinding stuff, will eventually start once again getting destroyed.
And yes, they'll almost certainly keep BW2's breeding mechanics. GameFreak has purposefully made it significantly easier to both IV breed and EV train. They have never, ever nerfed breeding, only buff it significantly. The chances of them killing breeding are almost nonexistent. So even if the 3DS isn't hacked, expect people to start breeding amazing Gen VI Pokemon in a month.
All you really had to do to make most Gen 3 Pokemon useful in Gen 4 was change their movepool. And in Gen 5, no Pokemon had their stats nerfed, EVs scrambled, or IVs killed. Etc.
All that usually happens is that new moves and Pokemon change the metagame up. *That* is why certain Pokemon have become "worse". They have never, ever directly nerfed a Pokemon like you are proposing.
Yeah but breeding takes a while too, I just wish it would be faster
Somewhat controversial (?) opinion here: They should do away with IVs (i.e. standardize "base" stats among all Pokémon), and remake EVs into a more transparent and accessible system.
I could see EVs being turned into some sort of customizable "Stat Points" system, where points are earned on level up (like talent points in an MMO). You can put points into stats to level them up, but with diminishing returns; for every leveled up stat, it will take more stat points to reach the next level. This would hopefully encourage more diversity and depth in stat distributions, as opposed to the standard 252/252/4-style distributions that the current system devolves into.
Extending from this, there could be an in-game means of resetting stat points, perhaps through a resource cost (like money) or through mini-games at some sort of "PokéGym".
Basically, I'm for getting rid of BS and time sinks, and instead emphasizing depth and strategy where possible.
Supposedly the 3DS has already been cracked, so the hidden Pokemon still probably won't be hidden until Nintendo reveals them. But we probably won't see anybody with hacked Pokemon (That weren't transferred from earlier games) or anything like that.
IV's differentiate between pokemon and make them feel different, I can see why you'd want to get rid of them but only super hardcore guys even bother with them. That said I don't think it needs to be from 1 to 31, 1 to 21 is enough. And if they bother changing that they should go back and balance older guys. Add steel to Blastoise and dragon to Charizard as far as typing goes, that sort of thing.
I think there's only one to show off, personally - Masuda shows card, head guy shows same card to others, they all watch slackjawed at 10 seconds of in-game footage of it ala the Sylveon video. I think people are getting 3 from the 3 different events shown - most likely scenario is that it's all the same:

Getting 3 Pokemon reveals at once is a dream scenario![]()
Wait, is the only reason people are thinking three because of the cuts?
It's totally one Pokemon they're showing off multiple times and/or different screenshots. Hype gonenot

This is just my preference but I'd like IVs to be forced choice, i.e. only one or two stats could be ever maxed out by the generator. It would be in stages like "31, 21, 11, 1" and each stat would be one of them. That would fix the breeding problem somewhat too, I think, maybe, it will at least improve it a little.Well, they could make a "pie chart" of sorts showing EVs.
I really don't know how to fix IVs.
