It has and can, but if it's being done seriously and isn't just pub trolling, she has to be the primary farmer on her given lane.
I guess it always struck me as being about big and loud first and foremost rather than characters (which isn't exactly strange for tabletop properties, I spose). What variant of the strain would prove me wrong?

The best part is you died to me like 3 times to the exact same stupid combo. I tossed a missile on you, then you jumped me, bashed me, got stunned by the missile, and I Ulted and rocket barraged.
The world let me backtrack all the spells except yours =(

He's not really well suited because his ult can't kill. But yeah stick a butterfly on most agi heroes and they can carry. Dat gale
His ult not killing people isn't the reason, it is due to the fact that he doesn't scale at all and his Range is horrible.

Soo.. I am noticing a trend. I usually have the most deaths around mid game. I get accused for feeding. Except by that point my deaths are because of suicidal attempts to save someone elses ass. If I don't save them, THEY feed. If I save them, I die, and I am called the feeder. Seems like a lose/lose.

In other news, this iG vd VG game is pretty intense. Theyre so close on kills, but iG has all their towers while VG has none left
Also, iGs Jugg and Gyro both have Butterfly's. lol

Depends what hero you are and who you are saving. Are you playing a carry and dying for a support, ganker, or initiator--or are you playing a support and sacrificing yourself for a carry. The latter is always better. Anyway, pubs are guna pub and you probably don't want to sacrifice yourself for anyone and let them die 80% of the time lol.

iG will be at least a Million $ richer soon. I don't know if anybody can stop them. I expect a flawless walktrough from them in TI3, without a whole set of matches lost.

Yeah they are really really good, but I suppose Alliance will give them a run for their money and 6.78 should shake things up quite a bit, so we'll see if their drafting/style can adapt quickly to the new meta. They are definitely the favorite though.

I don't think Na'vi will do good in TI3. I like to watch them play, but they can't keep up with the other teams. The only hope for the West is Alliance or Liquid I guess...

they were playing like shit before ti2 too, and even at the first part of it iirc. they probably won't do well at ti3, but we'll only know for sure once the matches are done
tbh if you wanted to just use the items for youself to see, you could also replace the character models and probably the announcer or even the character voices. there are even nude skins

NV is probably the most LAN/crowd experienced team there. Alliance played at Dreamhack and Starladder? That's it.
Navi is having a hard time against Power Rangers on Sheever stream

But I know what you are getting at, Na'vi can really step their game up in LAN-Tournaments, we will see....
It's really hard to predict TI3 play from now till August for 3 reasons:
1) LAN. Some teams play the same. Some teams are 10x better. Some teams are 10x worse, the LAN environment definitely has a noticeable effect.
2) 6.78. No one knows what this patch is going to change, but we know it's going to be huge. New content for sure (which means new items or map changes), and 6 months worth of balance changes. Plus 6.78b. The meta will change and teams will have to adapt. Drafts, strats, and style could potentially all change.
3) Boot camps. Navi played like shit before TI3 and ended up in second place. I'm sure they are going to boot camp hard this year as will most of the teams, and the motivation to practice months in advance is huge compared to the minor tournaments here and there where some teams like NAVI just don't give a fuck, and others will take seriously. I'm pretty sure everyone is going to take TI3 seriously.

PSA: If you're playing Centaur, please take the time to gank once in a while. You have a 400 damage nuke at Lvl 7, a 2 second stun, an on-demand Haste rune and maybe even a quick Blink Dagger if you've been farming well.

I'm really trying to like this game but I get one good match a day if I'm lucky. Either someone leaves, or, like to tonight, a teammate just runs into a lane and dies from a tower.
The amount of games I've loss because of this is really ruining the game. I can't think of another game where leaving a game the first time you die is so abundant.
I really want to know the best way to win a game where you are up in kills, but one teammate keeps feeding one guy. That guy ends up being 10 levels ahead and it takes everything we have to barely kill him.
Good news is I'm loving the mechanics and its one of the only games I want to play. Now I just need to convince my friends to play more.

I would but I'm not good at the game. I would hate to bring other people's games down due to my skill level. And a lot of the stuff talked about in this thread means nothing to me yet.
But if no one minds playing with a new player ill check this thread tonight.
