make sure gaf sit at key spots so they can spot the paid clappers.
I actually found that incredibly fun and rewarding. Sure it was difficult but the sense of achievement every time you got past a single guard without being seen was incredible.
Definitely one of the platinum trophies i am most proud of

#8 - Hmm... It's hard to remember some of the really hard games I've played, but... the most recent one would easily be Dark Souls. Definitely had some really frustrating and rage inducing moments in that game due to the difficulty (especially that fucking final boss). Still very fun, though!

Plating COD:w@w vet was pretty bad, I went through 2 controllers in 48hrs. The worse part was that you could not stop, because once you had the momentum going you had to stick with it or risk losing the motivation to see it through.
Now GOW 3 plat caused me physical pain (last Cerberus encounter) due to the constant grinding of teeth, I literally broke one, almost dislocated my jaw. It was not even satifying when i got that plat, i was more pissed than anything.
Haha, I'm pretty sure that she also got one, but is too excited to post it.
Jesus yes that was incredibly frustrating. I'm glad i didn't break any teeth doing it though :|
I broke a controller whilst doing the Mirror's Edge speedruns so i'll go for that as the most difficult. Again though, it was really rewarding. It's just that if you made a single mistake you had to start over - and i kept making mistakes right at the end of the level >.<
Got the plat though.

Recently, I think my first playthrough of Dark Souls. I played Demon's Souls later and I found it way easier than DkS.

Then again they are practically the same game, so it really depends on which you play first I guess.
I think it depends largely on which you play first. Before the gameplay "clicked", I was having a hard time in Dark Souls (in fucking Undead Burg). But once you're past that, DeS and DkS get a lot more easier when you get a feel for the timing of attacking and dodging. I killed most bosses in DeS on my first try, but I found some of the levels harder than DkS (like 5-2, I hate that place).

Megatons are better when watched and not read. I hope the ship doesn't leak this time.
I don't think it's going to happen. A lot of younger gamers see turn-based gameplay as archaic rather than simply an alternative style.

They've still got a week to do that. The showed a bunch of stuff at their Judges Day event, and some of it is still under a NDA.

ACiT is the best game in the entire R&C franchise IMO since it takes all the best elements from the past Ratchet and melds them into something that works so well, I would even place it higher than Going Commando and UYA.
Is it going to be on spike tv? I set recordings for MS and EA on my DVR but it shows dodge ball during Sony conference time. I also checked website and it is not listed either for that day. I need to be able to record it my wife will be off for the next 6 weeks to recover from a surgery and I think watching the MS and other E3 coverage might be pushing it. Might need to watch Sony after she goes to bed.

As someone who grew up on turn based games, I kind of do as well.
I just don't see any future in it, everything that can be done has been done with that system.
I prefer action RPGs because good ones encourage you to use the environment to your advantage as well, creating a more dynamic sense of combat that yoou just don't get with turn based games.
What I've heard is that Spike didn't get the rights or something to air the Sony Conference live on TV.

X-COM made turn-based games cool again.
It doesn't have to do with the idea of what a turn-based game is, but rather how[/B they're presented. X-COM has all that nice turn-based strategy and thinking, but it's wrapped up in all this intense action and interesting setting. It makes the game feel like it's going at a super-fast pace, and you are holding it back. Not the other way around, which is what other games usually feel like.
A fast moving UI and cool presentation does wonders!

I think that it won't be live because it's going to run through primetime, which means that Spike isn't going to interrupt their broadcast plans to run a videogame conference.
I was mostly just kidding. I doubt that they showed the press games that they haven't officially announced. But they may have let them play some of the already announced PS4 games.
