You can party up with Low Priority people, but I think as long as you aren't low priority your self, you can still get points. Or it could have just been a bug.

But when you search for match, isn't DotA2 supposed to tell you in big flashing lights that "You are queued with a LPP! YOU WILL JOIN THEM!"?

Maybe it slipped by me. I didn't change parties between 2 games, and the first one was fine...just that one suddendly telling me so.

As you say, might be a bug. Weird.

Think it's a bug. Happened to me too once when I solo queue'd and I asked in allchat if it was low priority because I sure wasn't in LP but people were answering no.
