Serious suggestion:

Loop Bar, Dering Street - off New Bond Street.

Why? Happy hour from 4-8pm meaning half price beers & selected spirits and cocktails. + GIRLS!!

Plenty of office and party girls. The place actually rocks till 3.30am.

Sounds good, nice and central too.

Does this mean you're coming Ninja Dom?

If there is any room to crash anywhere let me know, spent a fair chunk of my wages this month on new PC parts so cant afford to book anywhere, can get the last train as a last option though/

You have revealed both your full name, your private email address, as well as your booking reference number that someone could use to potentially steal your tickets.

Good job.
Yeah, that probably wasn't too smart in hindsight.

*deleted*

Nobody steal my shit! I know who you all are!

(cheers Suairyu, I have moments of idiocy here and there.)

Always been out of the country whenever any of the previous ones have been on, it'll be nice to go to one.

I'm in then.

Okay so since EviLore has said he's coming to London I thought it would be a good idea to set up a thread for a mini meet, mainly so we don't spam the BritGaf thread and piss off those who can't come.

I figure we'll meet up around 6:30-7ish, unless anyone's around earlier and wants to hook up.

Possible locations: Keeping it central, so

Loop Bar, Dering Street
Loading
De Hems

More suggestions welcome please.

Attending:

Musha_Soturi
EviLore
IamMikeside
CyclopsRock
BGBW
eggybob
Bazza

sohois
Hot Coldman (needs a place to stay)
Bleepey (maybe)
Jordan91 (maybe)
Deaf Spacker (maybe)

Will update OP as we go along.

found the right post to reply to

Stick me down for confirmed, I have nothing else on then, only something dramatic would stop me

Also, personally, I'd rather go to loading than De Hems since we went there last time

Also, 6 30-7 could be tricky since I'd need to come more or less straight from work. Is it the friday because that's when Evil is in London? Otherwise I'd have thought saturday would be better so i can spend more time with you lovable fools

I'd suggest somewhere in Camden because I'm lazy and also it's easy for people to get to from Kings Cross.

Mostly because I'm lazy.

Mostly.

Well that's the idea ;)
Goddamn it woman!

I did consider Camden, but for people coming in from elsewhere it's a pain. Sorry jim, you'll have to drag yourself to central

Yes I'm involved. This time I'll be there.

Bad side to Loop Bar is the pints aren't the best (Stella Artois is served). Stick to the Stella bottles for a good value, refreshing & tasty beverage.

Be prepared to lay down about £15 on a bottle of Rosè around midnight for some truly drunk pulling action.

Loop is also very loud so you'll have to stand outside if you want deep & meaningful conversations. But...GIRLS!!

Nothing is definite yet guys, still taking suggestions.

Although Loading may be out now we have so many people, it's pretty small.

Can we collectively veto wanky wine bars with strict dress codes, cheesy house music and overpriced drinks?

Those places grind my gears.

So that's London out. XD

EDIT: Right. Count me in. I have some money and it appears that I am happy to make a damn mug of myself. Do not hold it against me. :)

Montagu Pike then? That's the only large spoons I can think of round there. Not very classy though, and the tables ae a bit too spread out.

Spoons seems a bit shitty to me. Hardcore gaf like to PATT. If a no music type pub with space is the order of the day, you could do worse than a Sam Smith's. Red Lion on Kingly Street, Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street, Cittie of Yorke on Chancery Lane etc etc

Red Lion's TINY but Cittie of York is really nice, I love it in there. Plus it's like 10 mins from my flat. LET'S GO THERE!

I'll be honest, I'd prefer a quiet pub this time.
