Katy Perry's video for Roar premieres on Vevo in just under an hour from now. Katy's videos are usually energetic and amazing (Firework, Last Friday Night) so this should be a good video. The teaser indicates the video is about Katy as a sexy Amazon woman swinging through the jungle so this should be fun. TBH I'm far more excited for the video than I was for the track.

The video is the start of her campaign for her new album "Prism" that releases in late October, the follow up to her world dominating "Teenage Dream" album that released back in 2010. Hopefully this video will be one of her better ones given it's the start of a new era for her. Anyone looking forward to the video?

I loved it. I like that Katy is kind of embracing the cheesiness of the song. She's not taking herself too seriously and looked great.

Loved it. Colourful, bright and beautiful. Conceptually great for the song. Favourite part was the glowing orange firefly transformation scene. That scene was really well done. Katy also looked stunning and hot as expected. The twist at the end was also great. I'd say this ranks as one of her better videos. Looking forward to the rest of "Prism" now.
