Agreed. SMT4's early release was partially thanks to Nintendo because they wanted to show North America that the 3DS has games, and they will do the same with Persona 5 to show that the Wii U has games.

Apparently not. Did store pickup, so went to the counter for it, they brought out a giant 225 lb box on a handjack, lady printed out two receipts, one for me one for them that clearly said $23.xx total, signed it, and left.


Lady in front of me apparently found out the same thing since she bought two copies of pokemon for $36 total.

Well, at least it looks like it won't be filled with QUALITY like P4. But really, I can't see this working, a 24 episodes series would have made more sense the way P3 is structured, even more than P4.

Been playing a lot of DDS lately, and I noticed something interesting stuff regarding Cielo's ailment weakness:

-If he's hit with an attack that has a chance of causing a status (like Charm Slash) and he's inflicted with it, the weakness does not trigger.
-Ravana's Hunger Wave does not give trigger his weakness.
-I thought I saw Blood Curse not triggering his weakness either but I could be misremembering that.
-Enemies in an area tend to stick with one or two kind of ailments, so as long as you have the appropriate Null skill on, he'll be fine.

So basically the ailment weakness, while unfortunate, isn't nearly as bad as it is often made out to be. His subpar stat spread does hold him back though kind of, though with high speed, no elemental resistance, and passable magic, he has a few perks here and there.

I think it would be pretty cool to see the Investigation Team dressed as the Embryon or vice versa. They're close competitors for my favorite group of leads in a game.

The pacing is more than fit for a movie trilogy. Incoming P3 spoilers across the board.

Movie 1 will have the Introduction and Magician fight, the fight with Priestess in the rail car, and the Fuuka rescue event. Possibly even the love hotel and the start of Yakushima.

Movie 2 will have Yakushima, Introductions of Aigis, Ken, and Shinjiro, Strega, the October Full Moon event, and possibly even

Ikutsuki's betrayal if not done in the second movie. Aigis's past and her first encounter with Death, Ryoji and how it all relates to the main character, Chidori's death, last battle against Strega

Easily doable, especially if they pad stuff out using the side materials. Which it looks like they're doing. Already in the trailer we see new scenes (Fuuka's bullying at the hands of Natsuki, Makoto remembering his parents, ) that didn't occur in the game itself.

It actually has about four hours worth of story. You just think it has less because The Answer has a heavily lopsided gameplay to story ratio (its about 4:1 in favor of gameplay, much higher than the main game.)

However an adaptation of The Answer is pointless. The manga proved that about almost all of it can be done in the story proper.
