This thread is still a WIP until I get better materials but this is a simple thread made for simple sharing. It will improve.

This thread isn't meant to be glamorous like the official OT handled by Amir0x so have fun sharing and discussing great moments.

Realize that the we have hardly any direct shots other than the KZ shot from Gamescom so don't be offended by the lack of content pre-release.
 
Facebook -_- No.

Can you do automatic archiving via twitch or ustream with free accounts?

They mention archiving, not supported at launch but expected later... they don't seem as confident with youtube.
 
Really excited for this thread, BUT I do kind of think there should be a separate thread of screenshots and videos.

Have there been any live demonstrations of this...I think its one of those things that just isnt going to work at launch

There should be a thread to collect all the information for the PS4 Streamers. that way it can be found in a doc for people to access and whatnot. just so it won't get lost in this thread.

Sucks that they mention specifically it's not supported at launch (but expected later) - perhaps they work through a different way...or are trying to implement that into a subscription for PS+ ...

There was a PS4 kiosk running a livestream on UStream during the TGS show that had Deep Down going on it for hours.

That right there makes me confident in the live broadcast functions.

Also, I'm totally using Twitch as a way to download my personal videos via the Archive.

I think the inclusion of the feature would be best to keep things all in one honestly. If that were the case then I would advise 3 threads but it's best to keep things in a catch all thread like this. I think we will be seeing tons of screen here more than anything so I wouldn't worry as long as people participate unlike that ahem Vita capture thread lol

You contributed so I'm not looking at you :P
 
It would be insane if they patched in the ability to capture an uncapped amount of footage and transfer it to your PC. That would completely defeat the need for external capture cards.

I think a thread like that might get buried as much as just posting here. Kind of like the Steam thread. If I want to Stream I will usually message the GAF chat and just post it in the Steam thread.

The screen caps and DVR captures will be the main stars of this thread I presume.
 
So what happens when I want to save screenshots, but NOT to Facebook?

Fuck that Facebook and Twitter shit, I'm not part of the "social media" crowd. Just let me copy the file off to a thumb drive, or better yet, integrate something like Dropbox, so I can put them on my PC and upload them where I damn well please (like oh... NeoGAF, as an example), not just where you "allow" me to.
 
I wish there was an option other than Facebook for video uploads. I really want to make vids but Facebook is atrocious quality.

Streaming might present more options in the future such as Youtube uploads via Twitch and such or just saving to something like a USB device as it might be patched in.

i guess everyone should just add everyone on PSN and we'll just get notified when they start streaming lol.
 
Won't be posting on Facebook since I don't have an account anymore...
Will likely do most of my activities on Twitch and pics through Twitter.... Maybe later imgur if their is a work around
 
Suscribed to this thread. I'll be uploading and streaming the hell out of Killzone, Resogun and AC4 when i get my PS4.
 
Have a twitter account that i can use to host the screenshots etc. but i haven't used Facebook in years, would need to create a dummy account for videos as theres no way in hell I'm checking my old one lol.

or ill just auto upload via twitch streams and edit lol.
 
I have a question, i see a screenshot folder, how do i take screenshots? i see that the share button is for videos, but which button would be the "print screen" thingy? :s

EDIT: the share button has a yellow led? O.O

So much confusion, well i am always confused lol D:
 
This could be awesome. I love watching some of you guys do play-throughs. Especially on games I'm too chicken shit to play.

Twitch only lets you archive like a month's worth of content. It used to be from the begging of your channel's life and I liked that better. It kinda sucks now and I don't know why they changed it. :(
