If you're content with where you are and where you're going, I guess that's ok then. One thing that should be definitely considered is ditching the release clauses, makes it way too easy for Bayern to poach players from your team. I know it makes it easier to convince players to sign longer term contracts but it can also work against you.
When's the CL final? Losing a second consecutive CL final to Bayern (or anyone) might be what finally sends him over the edge and gets him killed. I should know.

Well, what else should we do? You act like we have the choice to just accept 500m from somebody and spend it like we're Bayern. It just doesn't work that way.
And we have mainly already ditched release clauses. All our recent signings (Micky, Auba, etc) don't have one and the new contracts (Hummels, Kuba, Bender, Subotic, etc.) we signed don't have release clauses either. But we can't just change stuff from the past and it just doesn't always make sense to deny them. Like Götze's "Get 37m for me next year or I'll leave for free in 2 years." request. Or Reus would have signed for Bayern if it wasn't for a release clause because we we had an unsure future in early 2012.
