Not really getting the hate this episode is getting. It's a downbeat episode sure, but it's a solid one. People looking for shitty episodes should go back and watch the majority of season 2.

I thought this episode was one of the best of the series. Really liked the shots of the city and the fire/smoke imagery combined with Carol talking about her old personas being burned down (kind of corny but it worked for me)

Great music too

So much for Trojan Horse Carol. But omg Ricktatorship will be there to fuck the hospital people up!!! Even better~~~~

Also Daryl's worry face over Carol is super cute to me *_*

Jesus christ that was boring. They could have set up that entire plot scenario in 10 minutes but in classic Walking Dead fashion they stretch it out for an hour. They make zombie survival boring as fuck. I just don't give a shit about Carol or Daryl. Just constant whining and moping around. And that truck off the overpass scene was so goddamn bad. Like that's a new low for this show.

Looks like Rick and co are back next episode but I hope they fit the other group in there too.

Yeah. The music really hits. It's also a good look at the shit Carol has yet to get over from Sophia and how that's affected her up till now. That past shouldn't drag you down, but you shouldn't forgot it either. Carol is still learning that.

It was definitely good character building.

Loved the episode. Carol is my badass heroine in the zombie apocalypse. The fight between Rick and the other group was obvious. The producers need another Governor-eaque battle to happen again.

Why on talking dead do the actors talk like they lived in the actual setting? Drives me crazy when they do this. Are they just filling in comic backstory? If so that's a little better reason for doing it.

Cause they acted through the sets, and had to get in the roles?

Season 2 had fun drama all the time. This was just boring. I liked all the debate and arguments in Season 2 about whether they should give up on Sophia, about the zombies in the barn, about what to do with the guy they found with the gang.

This had nothing.

At least the first three episodes were good this season.

I seriously don't know why the dialogue was so uninteresting. Daryl and Carol are two great characters and always seemed to have a lot of chemistry. What happened? Dialogue was so bland and banal and blah.

Not sure of one of the best in series, but it was a good episode. I felt the dialogue was done well, good character building and some good human moments from both characters. Felt like a completely different show at times, bad truck scene aside.

Plus, this is the way they should have used Atlanta.

I gotta say I really liked the use of flashbacks in this episode. I like that it didn't spend a lot of time on it and we have to just imagine what lead up to them. Like the shot of Carol burning the bodies it didn't bother showing her getting them there. Good stuff.
