Ayyy

Loved the music in this episode. The whole thing had a big time "The Last of Us" feel to it. It wasn't narratively necessary but I didn't find it boring at all. Plenty of character moments to chew on.

Dull dialogue and nothing much happening for a hour? I think TWD has had enough of that.

Needs more Daryl mumbling through his lines in a gravelly voice about God knows what... How sad is it that I watched this show a few hours ago and I can't remember a single fucking thing these characters talked about. That's how throwaway the dialogue on this show is.

Definitely got some TLOU vibes from this episode. I thought it was pretty good, but I think it would've been better to end with them intentionally getting Carol picked up by the other group after they had a chat with the guy that escaped. It would've been better than Carol randomly getting hit by a car (plus she was already injured and would've had a good excuse to be someone looking for help).

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
I really liked this episode as well. Maybe cause I like these characters. Didn't find it boring at all.

Same. Every episode can't be massive gun fights. The stuff on the farm where they just sat around and argued was boring, but I thought this episode was interesting.

They were looking for clues about the people who took Beth, and they figured out that they were probably from the hospital because of the stuff in the van.

So in the flashback before the title sequence, was that place on fire, the place that daryl and Beth torched in their episode?

So little was accomplished this episode. The episode summary would be like 2 sentences long at most.

Episodes where the viewer knows way more than the people in the episode are weird that way. Like all those season 3 episodes where Andrea was oblivious about things we all knew.

We know who took Beth, we know where they live, we knew Carol would wind up captured by them somehow, we figured Daryl would probably buddy up with Noah and take him back to Rick. But the characters knew none of this.

I thought she was in her 60s.
She had a daughter that was around Carl's age. She's probably around Rick's age.

I enjoyed this episode. I felt that out of everyone, Carol and Daryl had stuff that needed to be dealt with and this episode did just that. The dialogue fit their characters as we've gotten to know them and they resolved an issue that needed to be resolved. They didn't talk in circles which was really nice. Plus we got to see the city and some new buildings and shit. I think this season has been fantastic with the up and down paced episodes.

That said, if someone has to die, it better not be Carol. I am more than willing to let Beth go.

If she dies, i riot!!!
Love it how Sony and MS are trying to 1 up each other with ads every week.
Yeah, saw the Dragon age Inquisition ad, no mention of a PS4 version anywhere, Its ibvious that EA is MS's wing man and Take-two is now's Sony's this gen
and ubi for parity.
It's annoying as all hell.

Rick is like Alucard, just waiting on Integra Carl Judith to give the word
I'm grabbing the popcorn when Hellsing 10 comes to Toonami.

Loved this episode. It added layers to Daryl/Carol's natural friendship, and quietly reflected on Carol's transformation. I love these slower more intimate episodes, incredibly important in building characterization, and giving the "bigger" episodes weight and added tension.

Looking forward to the assault.

Episode wasn't action packed but that's cool.

What do people want? You aren't going to have a war every damn episode. Take it easy.

Fun episode. Revisiting Atlanta was refreshing. Loved seeing Darol moving through the streets, parking garages and office buildings.

The highway, then and now:

Yeah, this was cool. I also loved the sweeping panorama shot of Daryl and Carol walking toward the van on the bridge with the city in the background. They did a fantastic job with the CGI there.

I think it was the house Beth and Daryl set on fire.
It was the prison. They show her driving towards the smoke and she sees one of the prison towers on fire.

Also, she and Tyrese see the smoke from the Beth and Daryl fire in a later episode.

Music was very good in this episode, it reminded me a lot of Silent Hill with the personal/psychological touch. Bear keeps on giving.

Not a bad episode. Van landing on its wheels was nonsensical and the cops that ran over Carol immediately got out, put her on a stretcher, then left. Really? Not even going to check the area in case she was with more people or even slightly scratch your heads about it all? Sure...

They were in the area because Chris/Noah had fired his gun. They probably saw her, figured she was the shooter, and ran her over on purpose so they could "recruit" her for Dawn's whackadoo system.

They're not going to stretch out the hospital rescue over two episodes, are they?

And this episode was really slow at times. I mean, Darryl and Carol are great characters but they really could have moved it along faster here.

I reckon the Hospital will be dealt with in next weeks episode, and the final episode of 2014 will probably deal with
Morgan
.

I wonder if AMC pays the actors by the episode, since we only get one group’s story at a time and we haven’t seen Rick and church gang in a month.
