Hey guys. I'm one of the hardcore TNA fans who you see regularly on iMPACT! and TNA PPV. You probably recognize me as the guy who wears a shirt and tie to the shows.

I've seen a lot of posts claiming that the biggest thing wrong with TNA right now is us, the loyal fans in the iMPACT! Zone.

I'd like to give you a little perspective on things. There is a group of about 12-20 of us who are at every show we can attend (Collectively known as the "Crucial Crew", which is why you see us throw up the 'c' hand signal). And we DO NOT like the direction this company is going. Therefore, we express our displeasure in hopes that management will listen. Why? Because we LOVE TNA, and will not stand idly by while it gets raped by Hogan and his boys. If we were season ticket holders for a sports team, this would be expected, would it not?

Last night at Genesis was a major event in the growing war between the TNA loyalists and the Hoganites. I can tell you that very real battle lines are being drawn within the organization, and the conflict will get a lot worse.

Again, we LOVE TNA. So when a man who built his career and reputation on WWF Sports Entertainment comes in, changes the things that make TNA unique and basically tells us that the TNA model is broken and that "the smart marks in the front" (read Hogan's IGN interview) don't matter, aren't representative of mainstream America and so should be ignored- Yeah, we're gonna be pissed.

Last night was remarkable in that for the first time ever a TNA producer came down into the pit where we stand, grabbed my friend by the shirt and actually threatened to ban us from the building if we didn't stop with the "vulgarity and the negativity". From reports, this heat came directly from "Dixie and Terry who were pissed that we didn't put Morely over during his match with Daniels. Are you kidding? This happened during the Pope v Wolfe match, and totally killed the crowd. If you were wondering why the crowd was so dead during what was a great wrestling match, that's why.

Here's the thing though... We've become friends with a lot of the wrestlers, and they all love our energy, enthusiasm and passion, and have and continue to support us. The production crew, who takes heat directly from the top, HATE us, most likely because they are all afraid for their jobs.

Also, all of the Bubba Army idiots and other Hogan marks are now in the iMPACT! Zone and act like the complete tools they are. Oh, but THEY don't get scolded like 5-year olds, even though they are the most offensive people there.

I saw hundreds of people walk out on the show last night, something i've NEVER seen at a PPV. Things are getting weird. Hopefully, Bischoff and Russo are smart enough to use this tension to create compelling TV, but from my perspective, it seems like TNA is dying right before my eyes.

Want some compelling TV? Wait until the entire pit revolts and empties into the ring on live TV. The way things are going, this is not altogether inconceivable.

Rest assured, the Crucial Crew will fight to the end for the TNA we know and love!

After reading this^, I honestly don't blame TNA one bit for that speech they gave to the crowd (which was basically aimed at that group of retards in the front row).

Those smart marks are more concerned about coming up with "creative" four-syllable chants every minute than they are with actually watching the matches. Seriously, if you want a fun drinking game, take a shot every time those fans start up a chant during a show, and you'll be dead within an hour.

These are the same people that chant "This is wrestling!", "This is awesome!", and other stupid shit literally minutes into a match.

Smackdown spoilers:

* Finlay d. Batista by DQ when Batista refused to break the referee's 5-count I guess. Then he cut a promo saying Finlay represented the other Royal Rumble competitors and that he would win the Rumble and end Taker's undefeated streak at Mania.

* Match 2: Dolph Ziggler beat Jimmy Wang Yang with a rear naked choke hold.

* CM Punk and Luke Gallows come out saved another fan. This time it is a hyper fan named Serena (Mia from FCW) and Punk shaves her long hair off till she is completely bald!!!

* Handicap match: Chris Jericho & Drew McIntyre vs. John Morrison. Teddy Long comes out and makes it a tag team match. Morrison's tag partner is R-Truth.

* John Morrison & R-Truth win when Truth pins Jericho after a scissor kick. Great match!

* They show highlights of Rey winning the world title at Mania 22 while the ring crew sets up food and balloons for the next segment... Involving McCool & James.

* Michelle McCool and Layla make fun of Mickie James with a buffet of food. Maria interferes and calls them morons. Mickie comes out and says Michelle and Layla think they are great but really they are nothing. She points at the audience and says this is what real women look like. She says Michelle will never run her off Smackdown. Michelle says the WWE fans get to watch Animal Planet and WWE at the same time when Mickie is on TV. Catfight ensues. Beth Phoenix runs in and helps Michelle and Layla. They shove a 'Piggie' cake into Mickie's face and dump punch on her. Actually a great segment, believe it or not!

* Mike Knox & Charlie Haas (he still works here too!) vs. Cryme Tyme gets interrupted by Kane, who lays everyone out. I guess he wants to win the Rumble too...

* Matt Hardy & Great Khali (there's an odd team for you) d. The Hart Dynasty when Hardy rolled up DH Smith.

* Rey calls out Taker. He says he is not afraid of him. Taker says he admires Rey's bravery but at the Royal Rumble he will defeat Rey and Rey will rest in peace. As Taker walks out, Batista lays out Rey and runs away through the crowd.

* Vickie Guerrero comes out and makes Rey vs. Batista for tonight. I'm guessing this is a dark match.

* It's a no DQ match. They brawl with weapons for a bit. Jericho interferes and hits the codebreaker on Rey. Matt Hardy runs in with a twist of fate to Jericho. CM Punk runs in and hits GTS on Hardy. Kane runs in and chokeslams Punk. Batista spears Kane. Rey jumps back in and attacks Batista. Kane chokeslams Batista and Rey splashes off Kane's shoulders and pins Batista. Crowd goes home happy.

Yeh the impact fans suck. They are so desperate to be like 90s ECW fans

i hope TNA bans their most loyal fans and goes down in flames, then when they want them back after all the casuals have left, there's nobody there to fill the impact zone.

Ring of Honor To Introduce World Television Championship

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

BRISTOL, Pennsylvania (January 20, 2009) – Ring of Honor Wrestling is proud to announce the addition of a new secondary singles title – The ROH World Television Championship – into active competition. Beginning February 5, 2009 as part of the next HDNet National Television tapings in Philadelphia, Ring of Honor will host an 8-Man Championship Tournament to crown the inaugural champion.

“We’ve been talking about adding a secondary championship for some time,” said ROH President Cary Silkin. “Not only will this give the athletes of Ring of Honor another tremendous goal to work towards, it will also give our great partner, HDNet, a championship that is sure to be defended on the television program. We’re happy to publicly give thanks to HDNet for giving us the chance to add this title to the television show, and to All Star Championship Belts for bringing the actual belt to life.”

The ROH World Television Title Tournament will play out over the course of the six episodes of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” that are set to be filmed over the February 5th and 6th weekend at the Arena in South Philadelphia. The tournament brackets and seeding will be unveiled over the course of the coming days via release at ROHWrestling.com.

ROH Vice President Sydney Eick added, “It’s an exciting time to be sure; the Television title will bring an added level of competition and intrigue to the show, and we’re all looking forward to it.”

Ring of Honor Wrestling airs Monday at 8pm EST on HDNet. For more information on the program please visit www.rohwrestling.com and www.hd.net/ringofhonor. For more information on All Star Championship Belts, please visit http://allstarchampionshipbelts.webs.com.

Awesome news, ROH has needed a secondary title for a while now, with so many midcard guys in need of a push. Who would you guys put the title on? Personally i'd choose either Kenny Omega or Kenny King.

We'll take Kong, and debut her the night after WM. Put all the actual wrasslin' gals on one show, Divas on the other. And then ECW can keep Tiffany

Holy crap, I didn't know about this, but after watching Genesis, I mentioned to my buddy how a bunch of morons in the audience are getting so obnoxious it's starting to distract from the show.
I hate those fuckers. They seem indeed more interested in getting their face on tv and consider the impact zone to be their private little club where they can do whatever they feel like and pretend to be better than anyone else.

The sooner they get barred from the show, the better.

Not only is she one of the best female wrestlers in the world, but she's also hot - a rare combination in womens wrestling, TNA are oficially retarded if they let Melissa & Kong leave, but hey, more oppertunities to see them in Shimmer.

Same here, Corny's totally got the gift of the gab, but you just know he's going to have a stress induced heart attack/embalism one of these days. :lol

....that's it?

That sounds like general populist rhetoric . I thought he said something crazy like "look at the dead ********* on TV" or something. Someone always says something like that when America spends money on something. Wouldn't punch someone for that though it is annoying.

Is Kong Haitian?

Kong held a charity to gather funds for the earthquake victims in Haiti.

Whether she's Haitian or not, that was a pretty classless thing Bubba said.

Nah, but she's involved in running a Haiti benefit show featuring a number of other TNA wrestlers, guess she took offence to Bubba's viewpoint, but I agree that's hardly reason to hit the guy. Although regardless of whether his opinion is one commonly expressed by others in the media he should have had a bit more common sense than to tweet that particular insight when he's just started working for TNA, it's hardly the kind of publicity they want. Also, it's particularly hilarious that Hogan is trying to turn the whole thing into an angle, purporting that Russo put Kong up to hitting Bubba :lol

Ah, that would explain a lot.

No doubt what he said was classless, and probably bullshit. I wouldn't be suprised if Bubba is the first in line to argue against more social programs to help the poor in this country anyway.

USA chants? but but

Orlando Jordan is boring, he's always been boring, whether it be on the mic or in the ring - he's like the anti-Pope. What exactly has he done to warrant TNA adding him to their already over-packed roster and putting him over one of their best young talents?

He's a WWE reject. That's the only qualification he needs.

Sad but true :( When I saw Jordan confront Pope on the 1/4 Impact I seriousley had trouble remembering exactly what it was he did in WWE, and all I could think of was that he was a stooge in JBL's cabinet about 6 years ago. I'm just suprised as hell that any promotion could consider him a big enough draw to present him the way TNA has.
