Very true.I would always take Sting over any other young star. The man is king of the mic.
Timedog said:Wait a sec, wait a sec.....
Sting is actually good on the mic now?
That is bigger news to me than any of this. I remember back when I watched wrestling in WcW he was terrible.
meppi said:Fuck HHH, seriously.
RBH said:Sting has been increasingly motivated in TNA for the past year now, and it shows through his promos as well as his efforts in the ring. As a huge Sting fan myself, it's great to see him putting in the extra effort to end his career on a high note as far as the quality of his promos and matches goes.
Here's one example:

I think Cena, when not scripted, is totally fine and charismatic, that's how he got over in the first place before he became a childish caricature of his former gimmick. And Orton, well he just does great work as a heel, probably one of the top guys in the industry at what he does in that area.ZombieSupaStar said:triple h for all his accolades never seemed to have "it" to me when it comes to personality, he comes off as someone who studied how to have "it" and is trying his damndest to have "it" but just doesnt.
HBK does, Ric Flair does, CM Punk does, hell id even say Kevin Nash does.
I dunno, Triple H, Cena, And especially Randy Orton just fall under the "tries too hard" label for me.
I guess its like when I see triple h acting, I feel like saying "ok im watching fake wrestling" hard to explain i guess :lol
Darryl Strawberry, Cyndi Lauper, Bret Michaels, Sharon Osbourne, Michael Johnson, Holly Robinson Peete, Goldberg, Carol Leifer, Sinbad, Summer Sanders, Rod Blagojevich, Maria Kanellis, Curtis Stone and Selita Ebanks will be competing for charity when NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" returns Sunday, March 14.
Joe had this dumb "Nation of Violence" gimmick over the summer where he had this goofy looking facepaint and brought a machete to the ring (seriously).Kintaro said:WTF happened to Samoa Joe? He go back to his Zero-1 goofy look?
Okay example I guess. Too "shooty" for me though.

GDGF said:Pretty damn hyped here myself.
Is JR going to be on the Mike? For some reason I can't remember if he's a commentator for RAW anymore :lol
GDGF said:Aww. Too bad either way. I would have loved to hear the phrase Slobberknocker a few times during tonight's show.
Keyser Soze said:Hopefully someone will be selling lamps during iPMPACT tonight. That would be great
The lamp analogies are out of control. :lolBootaaay said:Personally I got sick of rumaging around looking for free lamps, so I just went to a proper lamp store and signed up to their membership package - if I ever need illumination I just head over to the store, flash my mebership card and hey presto, i've got a lamp.
That is a pretty stupid article. You can't compare the popularity's of Bret return to Hogan and TNA tonight. The 'E is booking a 4 month feud for one match while TNA is just trying to attract eyes to see your AJ Styles and Desmund Wolfes. TNA will be killed in the ratings, but they deliver a high impact, great wrestling show than that will benefit more long term than a Bret Hart appearance.Lost Fragment said:Damn, I can't believe I agree with a Mark Madden article.
But yeah, he sums up how I feel about the whole situation perfectly. The feeling reminds me of how I felt back when WCW was doing its "reboot." Like, I really, really, really wanted it to be awesome, but I knew deep down that it wasn't going to be.

I'll be watching Monday Night Raw for just the second time since Benoit died, and for the first time in its entirety.
I have to admit that guest-hosting Raw makes Bret Hart look a little foolish for not appearing on the Wrestlemania event that took place during his Hall of Fame induction year.
thefro said:Sting's a weird one... he was always mediocre on the mic in WCW but he's gotten great in TNA the last couple years.
