I know a lot of you like to hate on Hogan, and TNA. Just remeber this as your watching tonight.........Non of this would be happening if it wasn't for Hogan, and TNA.

If WWE puts on one of their best shows in 7 years (not that hard) Its because TNA made them. WWE went to south real fast when WCW finished.

Reading up on The Fingerpoke of Doom incident was interesting. I forget all that happen in one night. Crazy!

Also, the full ratings over the course of the Monday Night Wars is interesting

Are TNA broadcasting live in the UK tonight also? It's highly doubtful... Shame that because i think I'd rather watch the circus reborn down in the iMPACT! zone tonight / early hours of tomorrow morning.

Low 3.0 usually for WWE and low 1.0 for TNA is the last I heard

No chance, we have to wait til Saturday for Bravo to air the show. Also, it is currently listed as a regular 2-hour show on the Sky Guide listings, so I don't think they have a fucking clue what they are doing

Just a shade over 3 hours, let's get the rumor mills turning.

- Former WCW and NWO star Scott Norton teased on Twitter that he might be at tonight's TNA iMPACT. This would be the first time that Norton's name has been brought up regarding tonight's show.

Brooke and Nick Hogan will be at tonight's live iMPACT in Orlando.

- The Young Bucks are booked for this week's iMPACT tapings. There was talk of having them face The Motor City Machineguns this week on iMPACT so we'll see if it happens.

According to sources, the following stars are backstage at tonight's iMPACT for the three-hour show:

* Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, Orlando Jordan, Val Venis and The Nasty Boys

Bubba the Love Sponge said on his radio show today that there was a TNA creative meeting last night and that Hulk Hogan is definitely in charge as he vetoed some of the ideas that were brought up at the meeting with a "we're not doing it like that" mentality.

Bubba says that the direction TNA is going will appeal to the 18-34 year old male demographic and will be the opposite of what WWE is putting out. Bubba used the term "man stuff" when describing the TNA storyline direction.

Supposedly the new direction TNA is going in is to try and get the 18-34 male demographic according to Bubba the Love Sponge. Will be interesting to see how Hogan changes things. He still isn't sure whether he wants to go back to a 4 sided ring or keep the 6 sided one.

Apparently, Dixie Carter said in an interview with The Sun that for the UK viewers (and for everyone else around the world), they're going to put the full 3-hour show up on the website:

How about here in the UK? Impact is usually two hours at 9pm on a Saturday night on Bravo. Will we get the full three-hour show?

I am getting asked this question non-stop and unfortunately the UK fans will see a two-hour edited version of the January 4 Impact on Saturday January 9.

I hate the fact that is going to happen, but that's the reality of our situation.

We're working to try and get the three-hour show in its entirety shown for free on Video Vault on tnawrestling.com for the UK fans and those around the world who also can't watch it live.

It will be a delayed version, but we will find a way to make sure everyone gets to see that full three-hour show.

RAW is in the low 3s, and TNA is in the 1-1.2 range. They broke the record this year with 1.4.

hmm, it that case, was it a smart move to go up against raw?

why not just stick to thursday

It is great to go up against Raw, because honestly otherwise noone would be talking about it. Hopefully TNA does a good enough rating that Spike will let them air live every Monday night. If they go back to Thursday this does no good.

They are trying to find a new fanbase, bring in new people. Basically reboot the company. Best do something spectacular, and even if they fail miserably, then at least they tried

I might miss Impact's first hour. I wonder if they are going to reveal all the big things right out of the gate or wait until they are head to head with Raw.

It made perfect sense. Raw has been dogshit the past few weeks. In a straight fight, TNA reboot would steal a lot of their audience.

Except, of course, that WWE signed Bret a few days after the TNA Monday announcement. It's no longer a straight fight by any means.

Hogan was saying you don't want to miss the very start. He was saying things are going to get crazy from the beginning.

I don't expect much more than a 20 minute Hogan promo to kick it off.

TNA has recieved a ton of publicity by going up against WWE no one is expecting them to beat WWE in the ratings tonight or even come close but they are now on the radar of a lot more people than before.

TNA is going to have a live press conference on their website after the show goes off, so will be interesting to see what the point of that is.

Would let Tony Parker sleep with his wife
why the FUCK would all those guys sign to be at TNA? TNA's roster was overloaded before this Hogan shit. It would be different if TNA had a REAL 2nd show a week. But 2 hours once a week for all these guys is O.D. but on the plus side, it won't be any filler matches on their ppvs anymore. Can't wait for that Suicide/Samoa Joe vs. Hall and Nash. Then Suicide rips off the mask and it's Orlando Jordan.

Haha, old school. I remember actually being on one of those live AOL chats during the "Montreal Screwjob" since I was too young to order the PPV. Just imagine how confusing and chaotic that was.

How about being in an AOL live chat for 1999's Over the Edge.

Dayum, bummer on the UK people. I like that it's noticed by TNA and all that, maybe when (or if) they become a stronger company they can wrangle better deals etc etc.

Woah, Raw is Owen (the tribute show), did a 7.2 in ratings. That's amazing

..yes, I am still reading old Wrestling stuff on Wikipedia

If it's 1/10 as good as his heel turn speech, It'll go into the wrestling hall of fame. I was flipping through channels and i heard hogan's heel turn speech randomly and that's what made me start watching wrestling back in the day.

I just want to see how long before Hogan makes himself the champion.

He honestly cannot do that... even as a "Controversy creates Cash" thing that Bishoff is so big on, it would just piss-off too many people.

I have both shows DVRed tonight... will probably still flip between both.

First time I've watched wrestling in two years.

I'm pretty much expecting some half baked "NWO 2.0 takes over TNA and runs wild on the old roster" but I'm hoping for so much more.

Plus, I really want to see The Young Bucks after checking out some vids.

Probably, and we already just saw that for a while with the MEM dominating shit. But in the nearer-term, I wouldn't be surprised to see Hogan put the world title strap on Morgan.

Red Hulkamania t-shirt looks cool.

Because no matter how much hate people now have for Hogan, he was once EVERYBODY'S hero.

Prowrestling.net reports that the word in the TNA locker room today is that Jeff Hardy will wrestle in the Steel Cage Asylum match on tonight's iMPACT for the X Division Title.

It is confirmed that Hardy has arrived at the iMPACT Zone today. It's possible that people in the locker room are trying to swerve everyone but that is the word going around.

I don't get it, why would Jeff jump from being a main eventer in WWE... to TNA's midcard?
