I have been playing, coaching, watching basketball for about 3 decades. Not claiming to be an uber expert or something...but yeah his post is trash.. And you say I underestimating his post game and then you say if he had half the post of poster boy for non post player PFs he would awesome.. Lawl...

I don't see why people can't just like a player without making up bullshit for them... McGrady's always been my favorite player in the league - I'm not making up reasons for the fact that he sucks now. AI, amazing player, but a drunk. Baron Davis, excellent player in Charlotte, complete asswhipe.

Lebron is the poster boy for how Stern has pampered and babied his stars into being lazy, spoiled kids. Lebron gets so many favorable calls that he's never forced to actually work on his game in any meaningful way. If he had the work ethic of Dirk, Kobe, Duncan, Kidd, or Nash he'd have won several championships in Cleveland.

Dirk's post-game is hardly worth mentioning... He's had a great career, but it doesn't have much to do with his inside presence.

Lebron's not even a better scorer than Carmelo, how is he supposed to be a better scorer than the other guy's mentioned? Hell, he's not even the best scorer on his own team right now.

Lol what. Amare doesn't lower his shoulder. He looks to blow by people and if he can't he tries to dunk it. He doesn't run into people and drop his shoulders into them. Most of Amare's drive are off his first step or he he does like 3 dribbles at the most and tries to drive past a guy if he can pin them on his hip. If he can't get what he's looking for to get to the basket he shoots or passes the ball. Lebron walks the ball up the court, dribbles for a little bit and then does what he can to get within 10 feet of the basket so that he can drop his shoulder.

Scoring 3 shooting and d stats are all very very close.. Reilo's post earlier showed you their +30 years. Right now 1% is the difference in 3 point shooting.. Yeah I am sooooooo wrong.

Dirk really only developed his post game in the last couple of years... he mainly uses it to get a few feet closer to the basket for a turnaround jumper or a pass out to a perimeter shooter. He usually uses it when they put a smaller defender on him.
 
Lebron has no back to the basket game. Anyone that thinks he does doesn't know basketball. Matter of fact he looks more awkard pulling up off the jumper than Amare.

The point was Lebron shot way more 3s too. 1% isn't much. But when the other guy hits twice as many threes as the first guy it's much better. 118 made 3s a year is better than Wilkins' 55 a season.

If Lebron was skilled the cavs would have won a title. Lebron reminds me of Vince in his prime. People are scared of him driving so they give him space to put up his jumper. Difference is that Carter could pull up off the jumper better than Lebron can.

You think LeBron taking more 3s than 'Nique is a good thing, even though they both shot in the low 30s. I have no idea how to even approach that argument. It's so diametrically opposed to everything I know about basketball that I don't think we're even discussing the same thing anymore.

Every time LeBron starts shooting 3s, his opponents smile because it means he's wasting possessions (missing 67% of the time, and offensive rebounds are harder to get on long shots), not driving to the hole, not picking up fouls, not tiring the defense, and not involving his teammates.
