Ah, sorry, I took when you said that Wade hadn't had the bulls-eye for a long time to imply that. My bad.

But yeah, Wade will do great in crunch time. Its a perfect scenario for Bron. He can dominate for 3 quarters, get all the credit, and watch Wade carry him to the win. Personally, I don't think you need a mentally-fit team as long as you have a guy like Wade. Hes enough to deal with any pressure situations.

Oh they are going to be shooting a ton of FTs. Not 89. But a ton. Its gonna be a circus.

But the FTA numbers won't look too ridiculous cause scrubs will be playing for the last quarter of every game.

In the playoffs you sure as hell do. Crunch-time killers are hard to find. There's going to be games/possessions where Wade misses or doesn't get it done.

The score is 89-86, Miami down 3, 2 mins left, Game 4. Haslem in foul trouble. Wade drives and kicks to Miller/House, or dishes to Z/Anthony/Howard to a baseline J.

How much trust do you have in them to deliver?

That's what I want to see. Gasol had a soft label for 2 years. Artest was Crazy Pills (still is). They finally came through collectively on the biggest stage.

The Heat get nothing until they prove it.

Im also curious to see how well Bosh will do in crunch time, kind of a new situation for him :lol

I wonder if anyone will be rocking one of these tonight. Hopefully the C'z play pretty good and it isn't a freethrow fest.

This image on the front of Yahoo is just weird and creepy. It looks like it would be Krang's dick or something...

Now that we finally got rid of that dead weight in Stoudemire it's time for the Suns to finally clinch the title. Our road to the championship starts tonight.

But you DO need interior defense and rebounding.

We'll see how they fair tonight.

I wouldn't put much stock in tonight's game. Wade is coming back from injury, they still don't have an identity, and their playstyle isn't refined yet. Besides, Boston comes out strong every season...until they get tired/apathetic/injured.

Its the mid to late season Heat that everyone should be worried about. Not the one rolling out tonight.

The thing is I think it will be Lebron drives and kicks it to Wade.

But yeah, the supporting cast will have to prove themselves. Sure.

I somehow missed this:

When Michael Jordan saw Ray Allen after the Celtics won the 2008 NBA championship, he told him, "The first championship is luck. Come back and see me when you win another one."

Never change, MJ.

West
Lakers
Mavs
Jazz
Suns
Spurs
OKC
Portland

East:
Magic
Heat
Celtics
Bucks
Hawks
Bulls

Bobcats/Pacers/Knicks fighting for the final 2 spots. I say pacers because i think collison is going to tear shit up. We'll see.

I wish I could make a bet for the Bobcats finishing higher than the Hawks this year...

You won't be missing much.

I'd love to see them play the Heat in the first round, but I just don't think they have the horses to make the playoffs in a much-improved East. 35 wins seems like a likely number.
I'm cool with us having a crummy year. We need a high draft pick.

Suns getting a top 4 seed? Sorry buddy, but :lol

I think the Amar'e loss will hurt them a lot.

Weren't you the one seconds ago buying into the simmons hype?

Suns as a 4th seed :lol
As likely as Martin being on a relevant team.

Its ok, it's the suns, if everyones not writing us off it's not an NBA season.

Though i will say, i think the 2 - 10 seeds in the west could be seperated by all of 5 games.

You gotta be white and conservative like John Stockton and Karl Malone for the Jazz fans to forgive your playoff failures.

Avatar bet on Rockets/Suns seeding?

Y! Report: Knicks scout led years of improper predraft workouts, including session when Brandon Rush tore ACL. http://tinyurl.com/26gtwjt
For the past four years, the New York Knicks may have circumvented NBA draft rules by conducting secret workouts of collegiate players throughout gymnasiums in suburban Atlanta, Yahoo! Sports has found.
Oh Knicks.

Nah, i'm not that confident, we're sort of relying on tukey to not be shit :lol

I could see any one of suns, jazz, rocks, portland(having anyone over 6 ft 9 healthy is a condition here), denver (if melo stays), OKC, Mavs, Clippers (if b.griffin stays healthy) or memphis (if m.gasol develops further and they get the ball in mayo's hands more often) making the 2 - 10 seeds. And i really think it will come down to a handful of games seperating them.

I can't see warriors, hornets, wolves or kings being relevant unless someone on those teams becomes a new all star, by accident.

That's not a YouTube video and he had always said Stockton was the toughest matchup, because he was dirty.
No, it's cause nobody is going to break his record of 16,000 points.. uh steals, uh i mean assists. He would do things the right way, he would come off a pick and Karl Malone would roll and he would BOOP and he would BOOP right there for a dime. He would only shoot the ball 8 times, but he would make 6 or 7 of those, so that's 14 or 12 points. He would go to the line 10 times and make 10 free throws. So whats that? 8 and 10.. thats 18 , he would 14 assists, 5 steals. What do you get? you get 18 , 14 and 6, a beautiful game.

Players will hit every shot in warmups, even Fesenko is gonna look like Pistol Pete before a game starts.
