Leftover salt from Game 7.

I just have to get the will to be a great defender.

Melo-esque statements like this still fool people?

Should be a fun season.

Here's what doesn't make sense in Bobcats land...

Cho wanted to amnesty Diop, Jordan is like "lol, if i'm payin a bum he's gonna at least suit up" at first. THEN, once Cho comes up with some plan to move for <unnamed SG>, Jordan says "I'm not really trying to do that to DJ (Diop is DJ's boyfriend or something apparently)". Higgins co-signs Jordan. After all that, Jordan forks over a small stack for Biyombo when he really didn't have to.

I don't understand his bipolar cheapness.

What SG does Diop have enough value to get?

*crickets*
I read that at the Jordan Store at the Bobcats Arena they let season ticket holders get first priority on the XIs...and, of course, they bought out everything before anyone else could get to them. Police came in soon after to get rid of the crowd.

Must be nice to be part of that 1%, yo.

Might want to add to the OP:

"Lakers will have to settle for Dwight later in the season after getting cock blocked by lesser franchises in the pre-season."

as well as

"Lakers dorky little brother finally got his dick wet! Congrats little bro, 40 year old virgin no more!"
Lakers fans are as good as Heat fans when their uppity asses act like this. You're lucky ryutaro's mama is on your side.

He'll be lucky to avg 5-6 assists and 7-8 points.

Agreed on points, you couldn't be more wrong about assists.

But you know, you're trolling, so whatever. You'd be contending this year if Rubio played for the Lakers.

They were going to amnesty him. At least Cho was. Knowing Jordan, he probably wouldn't have signed on unless it would've guaranteed Nick Young's anus.

Head coach Rich Adelman addressed his concerns regarding the team's 22 turnovers on Wednesday against the Bucks. In two preseason games this season, the Wolves have turned the ball over 36 times.

"We've talked about people staying within their strengths," Adelman said. "If you keep making the same mistakes over and over, well, you probably shouldn't be doing that."

Is this what coaching looks like?

The Bobcats are going to be terrible. All of their players are either mediocrities, overweight, or still in development. To make matters worse, they're not even going to be the defensive stalwart they've been in years past. So they can't score and now they also can't defend.

I'm also not high on Bustmac Biyombo or Bomba Walker.

Some of these divorce details are getting pretty crazy.

Bryant, 33, was reportedly busted after the wives of his teammates snitched on him to Vanessa, who was fed up with his infidelity. According to other new reports, Vanessa hired private investigators to prove her husband was unfaithful.

I immediately thought:

Pau - Not married
Bynum - Not married
Artest - BB Wife (as in, on the show)...
Barnes - BB GF, seperated (also on show)...

I really hope that part isn't true.

Thats the point duh

If for nothing else, I want the Mavs to repeat just to spite BSPN. They're trying as hard as they can to pretend the defending champs don't exist.

Any time you can suspend a guy for only four games for his third attempted deliberate injury, in a playoff series that was already over, you've gotta do it.

I gotta admit, the Heat logo is fantastic

As for the champs, who knows. Shortened seasons are fucking weird. I also dont know why everybody has the OKC boner. Theyre good yeah, but theyre not winning the West I dont think.

Dallas is getting no respect whatsoever. The Heat didn't make any major roster moves besides Battier and their PG and C weaknesses are still a massive problem.

whoever wins this season is going to have an asterisk anyway just like the '99 spurs *. I still don't recognize that championship.

*unless the mavs happen to repeat

BSPN already decided on their narratives a long time ago. They were hoping for OKC/Heat last year, or Lakers/Heat, but the Mavs messed up their predictions, so now they're just going to pretend that didn't happen and continue their lame storylines.

Well half the team left, so it's not surprising really. They have a major problem at the 5 right now.

It might be their point to tank, but I do not like the players they drafted whatsoever. I mean, what was the point in drafting Kemba if he's going to be playing behind DJ?

DJ is gone before February. Dude has already sold his house. If there had been a full preseason and summer league transition, DJ would've been gone before Thanksgiving. Especially with the fact that even though this draft is really strong, there aren't any point guards worth mentioning.

We still don't suck enough imo. Cavs and Pistons will be tough to tank past.

I know people hate Carter. I'm aware that he's an underachiever and a choke artist. But people forget that some of his best years were playing beside Kidd. Carter is an upgrade over Peja. Odom is a major improvement any SF they were starting last year including Marion. They're still an extremely deep team. They've got Terry, Marion, and Beaubois all coming in off the bench. And yes, the center position is a massive problem but they're always going to be a contender with Dirk there.

Rubio is getting ROTY.

Calling it now.

Jazz will now divide 96 minutes a night with the bigs - guess is Jefferson (32) Millsap (28) Favors (28) Kanter (8) maybe some Evans

Jazz also will divide 96 minutes of wings -- My guess is Hayward (28), Howard (24), Miles (24), Bell (16), Burks (4)

Locke is employed by the team and goes to the practices, but 40 combined minutes for Josh Howard and Raja Bell would be absurd.

"As a Net, Carter produced some of his highest numbers. He scored more than 23.5 ppg and attained career high averages in rebounds per game (5.8) and assists per game (4.7) while missing just 11 games in his four full seasons as a Net. Carter helped lead the New Jersey Nets to three playoff runs and is currently in the top 10 of 19 different all-time Nets statistical categories, including points, points per game (1st all-time of NBA Nets), defensive rebounds, assists, turnover rate, 3-point field goals, offensive rating, player efficiency rating, and win shares."

Right, I guess I'm making stuff up.

You realize how long ago that was right? Kidd and Carter aren't close to what they were back then.

Kidd is still a top PG in the NBA despite being as old as some of the other player's grandfathers.

He is.

But he's old as shit now. So is Vince.

Bringing up their NJ days is like guys bringing up Baron Davis' time in Charlotte.

Steve Nash is better than Kidd, Vince was still awful.

You're on some wacky tabacky if you think Vince isn't finished. He had just come off a 20/5/5 year when he came to Orlando and was garbage. I can't imagine how bad he is now after the trail of destruction he left behind in Phoenix.

Kidd being old isnt an issue cause his passing isnt gonna get any worse, and his shooting actually improved.

All of the things that made Vince Carter awesome? Theres almost none left, and defensively hes a joke.

Kidd isnt a great defender anymore either, but you can help a PG defensively, a SG? Not so much.

It was obviously Pau, this wives snitched thing is a cover. Snitches get snitched on. Pau probably sold out Kobe as payback from earlier this year the second he figured out he got traded, or so he thought.

If it was Pau, it would be because of his gf's break-up during the playoffs. She and Vanessa were close.

And Branduil, even If you guys repeat and sweep the Heat, the story will be LBJ and his continued failure. Just the way they roll. Sad, but true.

Yea and Kidd is still great at getting those key steals or defensive stops. I hate picking up Carter and losing Chandler. I would be way more excited of the team this year if those two moves didn't happen.

You don't think Denver will make it to the playoffs?

Kad, how the hell do you have the Rockets in the playoffs and above the Clippers? Makes no sense. Paul alone gets you 8th seed.
