Has Woj's article on D'antoni Knicks been posted? Some interesting quotes from Diaw also..

Diaw was living proof that the only thing easier than scoring for D’Antoni’s old Suns teams is scoring against D’Antoni’s Knicks. Diaw happened to play a season for Woodson with the Atlanta Hawks, and didn’t exactly remember any particular defensive genius.

“When I was playing for him in Atlanta, I couldn’t tell if we were playing great defense,” Diaw said with a laugh. “We won 13 games.”

I also love the Knick fans going against Amare even though he is the only reason anyone has said anything positive about the Knicks in the last decade.
 
They tried to play Diaw as a point guard in Atlanta so keep that in mind.

Also, Diaw is a fat.

Problem with Ridnour is that hes a better shooter than hes a passer. Hes definitely clever and crafty, but hes not very good at taking care of the ball and he doesnt see the floor well, so when he gets ambitious, his lack of skills betray them (good examples being his awkward behind the back passes, his terrible attempt for an alley-oop yesterday or how he couldnt quite get away with that FT trick)

He does tend to give you points in a pinch, thats a nice skill and surely whats keeping him around.

Also, Minnesota is not a good passing team. I mean its nice that they want to share the rock and all, but Ive seen Michael Beasley try to feed the post, Love trying to pass it to Darko .. and it aint pretty. Love is a good passer for a big man, but he tries some stuff he should be nowhere near trying.

And holy shit Wesley Johnson either hits a shot or misses the basket entirely.

Love is not actually all that great of a passer, even for a big man. He's pretty average. And Ridnour is really very bad, last year he didn't even demonstrate the ability to "get you points in a pinch."

I don't live in Jersey, can't tell. At this point though I'd almost welcome some gimmicky Donnieball than watching this team struggle to run a half-court offense with 3 scorers on the entire roster.

the more losses the better clippers got that talent by being garbo which is what the rockets need to be for an entire season or two.

and it's ok..i take great pleasure in seeing the knicks fail just as bad (if not worse)
 
lol 2k12. I finally hit free agency (end of 3rd year) and I look through the teams I have to choose

Holy shit. Al Harrington is shooting 54% for this season with 15.6 PPG at 25mpg.

Is this his contract year or something? Granted it's only 7 games in, but still.
 
It doesn’t matter that management made D’Antoni hire a “defensive coordinator” for his coaching staff, a term he resents. D’Antoni didn’t want that kind of an assistant when Kerr tried to get him to hire Tom Thibodeau for the Suns, and he didn’t want it here.
