Probably true, which is why they made it the last part.Verano said:this was pretty much my reason for watching YnS...

Who said reusing sequences was important to the plot?cosmicblizzard said:You see people complaining about him reusing longish sequences all the time. Then you see a ton of people trying to defend that choice with "but that's important to the plot!"

That was awesome.
Number of times the music was highly unfitting for the scene being depicted: two.
I feel like this film, even more than the first one, was designed to have the maximum effect when viewed by someone already well versed in the franchise lore. Unfortunately that makes me unable to comment on how approachable it is for the general consumer, but I definitely enjoyed it. I really regret not having had the chance to see this one in theaters.
Also this means I've finally caught up on all Eva animated material (minus D/R, but that's all taken from other sources anyway). Now it's just, what, a year-long wait? Hopefully they'll be snappier this time around with a U.S. theater release... who am I kidding, I'll be stuck waiting to import the BD by mid-2013. Gonna be fun dodging spoilers for half a year...

doomed1 said:Yeah, but the thing is, the show's open to alot of interpretation, so by that measure, and true classification is made moot. However, through my interpretation, while she is certainly a yandere, she's what I'd call a "weak yandere" in that her nature has a decent freudian excuse. Ms. Nice Boat in School Days is what I'd classify as a "strong yandere" because while she certainly had pre-existing conditions that set up her yandere-ness, her actual breaking point was discovering her eventual rejection, which as far as reasons to go loony go, is pretty pathetic.
tl;dr,is a better excuse than "he cheated on you". Though both are yandere. I'm not denying that.Presumably having your family slaughtered
Yandere has more to do with the obsession, not really as much the reaction. For example, Yuno was yandere before she became aggressive. All that matters is the aggressive idolization of the object of desire really, and because Ms. Nice Boat hadSteroyd said:Ms Nice Boat's yandere tendencies didn't come out until she discoveredIt wasn't as though she was rejected initially either, she was being strung along and a lot of back and forth.main dick was stabbed to death on the floor just after they got back together, and that the girl who stole him away from her the first time claimed she was pregnant.
