Is the Cryostasis gameplay good?

I remember playing it ages ago and my performance was terrible.
It would probably be ok now on my new PC though.

It's...okay. I've had a few moments where I've felt the game design was kinda crappy. I'm enjoying it largely due to the atmosphere. The slow, clumsy combat adds to the intensity of encounters. Still runs like shit maxed out though. Worst engine ever. It has that Eastern European charm though, like STALKER, where the devs insisted on parallax mapping the shit out of every goddamn texture in the game.

Gameplay is excellent.

It's really interesting because it's the opposite of most FPS games. Every enemy is a tense fight and the weapons feel very powerful even though the combat is slow paced.

Yeah, the rifle feels damn nice to shoot, and the axes feels heavy and brutal every time you swing it. They did a good of making the slow paced combat feel intense, where every shot/hit is very important.

I have no fucking idea what use the water gun is though.

I have an i5 2500K OC'd to 4.3GHz, 8GB of RAM, and a GTX 570. Maxed out the game runs pretty goddamn shitty and isn't exactly a technological masterpiece. I suspect the PhysX features are really dragging down performance, but from what I've read everyone seems to have had issues with the game.

There is a script called first person.
Its really easy just put it in the main gta4 folder.

I did not enjoy this game. I understand that the game just came out, but ideally out of context, and without knowing where these shots are from, it isn't spoiling anything.

The original was a Half-Life 2 mod, the remake is a commercial Source Engine game with superior graphics.

For some reason I find that *hilarious*.

And damnit, why can't I get my NFSHP looking that good? Is it because I have ATI GPUs?

And that Death Road... is it as much like Wipeout as it looks?

Yes it is. A little clunkly, kind of disappointing (car selection), the AI is a cheating motherfucker (lots of times I've been 10 feet from the finish line, all of a sudden for one of the dudes right on my ass to accellerate and come up behind me and flip my damn car in the last lap)

But it's the only wipeout clone we have, so I can't complain too much. They're making a sequel.

Use RadeonPro and create an AA profile for Deus EX Human Revolution, filename dxhr.exe, then apply it to Hot Pursuit and you can force AA.
