Was getting all that set up difficult? I haven't had a chance to really have a whack at it. Mr Clapper made it seem somewhat convoluted. Would love to explore that game though.

I figured all that stuff out on my own a few weeks ago, all except for the removing the gun part. His guide was very useful for that, I couldn't figure it out myself after about an hour of looking through various INI files.

It is far more complicated than any Unreal Engine game should be, but no, it's really not all that bad.
Downloading a separate program to be able to edit the encrypted INI files as well as a trainer isn't the most difficult thing I've ever had to do to get screenshots.

Playing the game again for screenshots at 4K is a joy, it's one of my favorite shooters of the generation. Unfortunately the game is unplayable for an actual playthrough because removing the crosshair and UI also removes every QTE prompt and item menu in the game. You can't play the game that way, which is a shame because playing games without crosshairs and HUDs is awesome, so immersive.

I have to play the game with the UI/Crosshair turned on, and whenever I get to an area that looks cool for a screenshot I have to exit the game, edit the INI files, and then go back and get the shot. A pain in the ass, but whatever.

Nice screens :) ,i haven't played this game only a few minutes when it was released but it looks great. There is no way you can key bind the HUD or the crosshair to switch it on/off?

Thank you, means a lot coming from you.
I've done similar things with other UE3 games, such as Batman, but I couldn't get the same method of bindings to work with Bulletstorm.

Not saying it isn't possible, but I wasn't able to figure it out. Removing the HUD is just changing INI values to force them to draw off the screen. Just overall a very difficult process compared to other UE games, because normally getting great Unreal Engine screenshots is so fucking easy.

I'm glad that Bulletstorm being a pain in the ass is an anomaly, though.

Lol, to tell you the truth i didn't even noticed this in the second screen, but yeah sometimes mistakes happen.I was new to panoramas that period of time :)

I learned early on that if I screwed up by not covering enough area, trying to fix it myself just ruined it :( So now I overcompensate my boundaries. Though I'm trying to get away from panoramas a bit, as I think I start to get lazy when I make them.

Not that much of an anomaly. Mass Effect requires some annoying workarounds (but ultimately works out great). Devil May Cry is impossible, to my knowledge, as is Batman, to get any kind of free camera. Really need UE3 commands for third person games, I think. I hate being constrained to a third person view of a character when doing screenshots :(

We need to get a mob of angry gamers to yell at these developers for locking these commands and consoles up...

Well, ya, I should have clarified. UE3 FPS games.

Third person shooters are a difficult beast to screenshot properly. I've had tough times getting decent shots of Spec Ops: The Line. To think what I could do with that game with a free cam.

I beat that game like 4 times, I know every little easter egg and every cool little scene in the game. Just hard to get a respectable shot of a lot of it. You know, things worthy of the bullshot thread.

Just now playing Blacklight? Game is amazeballs. Can't wait for it to come to PS4 and gain more players and fans.

You can unlock a bunch of memes and Rage faces to taunt your enemies both in-game and after the match.

Nah I've played and screened it alot. But... I think new color grading with an update, plus the way the aspect ratio works with the game's presentation, it just suddenly looks alot better.

But mainly, I had never seen that skyline shot before :P.

I hate call of duty and whatnot... but I love blacklight. Heh.

Agreed.

Excuse the size, I was making some 3D gifs and this was a freeze frame that I found hilarious.

Leon is a serious OG.

I'm quite impressed by how much more texture detail you can get when downsampling this game.. all whilst running on max settings, solid 60fps. (Look at the building).

I was looking at that first picture and thought "well hell, that's unfortunate that even downsampling from that resolution theres a lot of stubborn aliasing. Ah well, I'll hold off on Dishonored for a while."

Then I scrolled down and went "Oh! Okay! Yeah alright great! I'll try that out soon!"

I finally went back to Borderlands 2 and now that they have upped the level cap I can play through all that DLC that came out. Just a snapshot of one of the areas in the Mr. Tourge campaign.

I quite liked that area too.

These guys were a pain to get decent screens of.

I need a new game to play =(

Yeah, thanks Unreal Engine for the most awful texture streaming engine on current gen :) Increased resolution just increase the distance of higher res texture drawing.

Going through Dolphin, I discovered that there were custom filters when using OpenGL, and I got around to playing with it. Here are some of the better pics I randomly snapped in Luigi's Mansion.

(All are 1920 x 1080 with either 4x or 8x SSAA)
