Whoa, those yours? Happen to have a mod list for that?
I really need to get started on Skyrim. Looking at the 10000 mods that are floating around is quite discouraging though.
100% JPEGs are just as good as PNGs to the naked eye... get over it brocookie.
He ships it with about 20 optional depth of field variants. I was using a tilt-shift with the quality cranked up to max.

silent hill games alwayS look like they came a generation too early .
ONce you put some decent AA on it and up the resolution they truly look like early current gen games.
I think once the full deal comes out it could be pretty close to photorealistic, but it's got a ways to go.
Yup, ArmA III has some amazing lighting that can quickly make a scene look very real. Not sure I'd agree with photorealistic as there's always 15 other things dragging down the visuals in each scene. However for the size and scope of the game, visually it's impressive and shits on a lot of other titles.
BIS really impressed and surprised me.
What I'm talking about with photorealism is DEFINITELY in motion, I wasn't able to capture anything very impressive in a single shot. A very solid implementation of motion blur and extremely very good lighting is what does it.
jujubeads, does NOLF2 allow for widescreen resolutions without any problems? Haven't tried the game(s) yet.
I really like looking at this screen. Dunno why, but it more than the others has me itching to buy into the alpha. Damn you.
I'm afraid if I jump in it's going to be like a MOBA where all my teammates start yelling at me for not knowing what to do properly and I get them all killed. Which, honestly, is exactly what will happen in my first game.
I don't even know how to play it, even though I have years of military training and combat experience, but it's fun to walk around in the editor.

this thread has some good info getting it to run in higher resolutions and proper widescreen: http://sficlan.net/Unityhq/forums/forums/index.php?showtopic=2372
im using a mod/launcher that automates the process: http://sficlan.net/Unityhq/forums/forums/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=55 (you need to reg and post to gain access so here's a dropbox link in case you don't want to bother: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4drfoeee5go6m77/2d7KcaTbj9/NOLF2_ExeMods_1.0.exe )
no major problems that ive noticed so far. there's a minor issue with some text being cut off, but it's not really a big deal -- everything is still legible except for the "quit" item in the main menu.
oh, and the game crashes if i try to downsample![]()
Seriously? There's no AA and it's only 1440p (my rig can't handle more if I want a smooth experience) - I thought they were terrible to what you guys (or other regulars) are known for posting. But thanks a lot for the compliments![]()
I wouldn't embed screenshots that weren't mineI'd just link to someone's gallery. Here was my mod list around the time of those screenshots. Of course, that doesn't include K ENB. Not sure if you can still get the build of K ENB I was using, as it's quite old. But I liked it and never bothered to update it. He ships it with about 20 optional depth of field variants. Only thing that really annoys me are the 2D leafs which always face your direction. It's hardly noticeable while moving around, but if you stand still and look around it's really jarring. When I was messing around with JC2 a few days ago, I was remarkably impressed by how well the engine holds up. That game is a real credit to the developers, they did some serious work.
JC3 is going to be huge.
